That's what I was getting at, Ali's choices were Marcello and Baked Potato, it was Dean who switched to Khaled - the latter wouldn't be a part of that pairing if it wasn't for Dean. But Ali is getting all of the flack. Perhaps she could've fought harder for him but the absolute reach of things like the above... the patterns of the GP towards opinionated women are tiring!

If it made her uncomfortable, she has every right to express it as a lesbian woman. As I said before with the Khaled arguement she expressed an opinion on him stating he was fake based on no facts just feeling that’s why people took issue with it. But from the threads discussion it’s obvious there will be those who will create a reason for supporting her no matter what simply because she ticks a load of woke boxes - female, articulate, gay etc.

I can't speak for Kath but i like her because she'd articulate, speaks her mind and is opinionated but also shows a very caring and vulnerable side to her as well with the likes of Lily (and tbh Martha and some others too). Yes she could have handled some situations better, she was dramatic in saying it could have lost her job but I think that's her neuro divergency coming into play and everything is heightened in there. She is allowed to not want to hear gross conversations.

Really hoping Khaled manages to survive being nominated and can make it through all these trials and tribulations Ali keeps throwing at him. Will be interesting to see if the pairs end up going in a completely different direction to how Dean and Ali thought they would.

Put biases aside why is it Lily can scream in peoples faces like a 12 yr old, have horrific hygiene habits and Ali is emphatic and mentions she’s just 20 and it’s her way of dealing with things. Khaled just a few years older tries to be overly nice and she starts a smear campaign is that not odd to you?

When you’re biased or calculating you often make logical errors. How is someone so articulate making such big illogical mistakes if it isn’t through bias or calculation

 

1. She said to Khaled she wants to park their differences and get to know him better he says it feels disingenuous and suddenly she said she’s leaving. If you were leaving how were you going to get to know him better?

Marcello has made numerous OTT comments most of which she hasn’t said anything, she didn’t nominate him etc. Suddenly she takes issue with a convo not involving her where other girls are asking him explicit questions using the fact she could lose her job as a reason which made NO sense. You saw Hanah tell Marcello not to censor himself, Sarah asked him the question, Emma is often crude so it wasn’t on behalf of women it was just her. Where did it come from? Could it be she heard her Marcello out from the crowd on eviction night? Of course

She then at the end of the last episode said she’s going to avoid Rosie because she ‘can’t be fake’ yet a few seconds before she said she won’t call Rosie out because she’s too well liked and her head would be on the chopping block. Is that not lowkey admitting she is fake and calculating and targeted Khaled because he’s an easier target.

 

When you top that off with the superiority complex aura she radiates it’s surely easy to see how she rubs people up the wrong way, I think she’s a great housemate like some others but you can’t throw tantrums when people don’t like someone who’s whole personality is polemic

So what has Khaled done that’s so wrong to be continually vilified? I think Ali is an interesting HM, articulate for sure but not without fault.

 

Marcello is awful. However why do you keep banging on about Khaled being good looking? Regardless of his looks he has literally done nothing wrong before Ali decided to continually pick at him.

 

I find it more weird that people think Ali can do no wrong and are supporting her regardless.

 

If she went she’d be a loss, especially given most of the other HMs but I find it equally weird how people are choosing to be blind to any of her faults
