I'm not sure about that because I don't have her physicals, but The Blessed Madonna's album on streaming is the usual version of the song - and that's the version that Tension II's streaming album links too. I'd assume Tension II download has the usual version.

 

The mix sounds like a rougher version on the Tension II vinyl - it's missing elements of the production, so it sounds a bit more basic/bare.

 

 

Edit: My Oh My sounds good as the album opener on the vinyl, and makes it seem less random than its Track 11 placing. Midnight Ride as Track 7 sounds completely out of place though! :lol:

Imo Dance Alone sounds better following Shoulda Left Ya on the vinyl, than it does following Midnight Ride on the other track list. Honestly I don't think Midnight Ride really warrants a place on the album, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Take it away and I think the vinyl track list would flow quite well, better than the streaming version tbh where the collabs all feel random at the end.

Well..... Midnight Ride has done well for her and its up for a Country Music Award and maybe liked by the Americans?

 

We also have to reflect that in the Tension era the top 2 tracks streaming wise on Spotify are now.....

Good to see it pick up some streams.

I'm absolutely obsessed with taboo, I must have played it at least 20 times today, pure feel good joy, the album was worth it alone for this.

 

I listened to the album in full this evening, I will need more plays to separate the songs as they are similar in style for the most part with the exception of Shoulda Left Ya.

Monday’s mids will be interesting. Don’t think it’ll add many sales through the week but hope I’m wrong on that.

 

Turquoise vinyl, print and CD arrived late afternoon yesterday, very nice. Shame the vinyl isn’t heavier but these transparent ones usually are the lighter type. Playing them later.

 

Prefer the look of the banana yellow one, the BL red one was a chunkier vinyl and both aren’t transparent. Clear vinyl is advertised as 140g so it’ll be like the Infinite Disco one which is excellent quality.

LCA, Taboo, Someone For Me and Good As Gone is one of the strongest starts to a Kylie Album ever....... Even Kiss Bang Bang could be added to a famous top 5
