October 16, 20241 yr A lot of controversy today about the fact he’s not English. Obviously you prefer an English person but there really wasn’t a huge pool to choose from. There has been Sven & Capello so not quite getting the big reaction.

March 15, 20251 yr I almost forgot Tuchel was the England manager. It feels like he has been in hibernation for the past few months! It's very much the calm before the storm with him, the England manager job is probably one of a few in World football that is guaranteed to not end well. Even Sir Alf Ramsey who won the World Cup for England had a torrid time by the end of his tenure.

February 12Feb 12 Extending Tuchel's contract seems tremendously short-sighted given he hasn't even taken charge for a tournament match yet.
