Gweve bow out after two wins after losing in a vote of 16-9 against M.I.A.'s signature hit Paper Planes. Let Me Blow Ya Mind was a top 5 hit in the UK and a #2 hit in the US during the summer of 2001, giving Gwen Stefani her first taste of solo success outside of No Doubt! They would of course collaborate a couple of years later on Gwen's single 'Rich Girl' - also reaching number 4 in the UK!

Round 14 now and Paper Planes takes on The Zuton's Valerie from summer of 2006! :cheer: Vote for your fave!!

Paper Planes

Easily 'Paper Planes' on this one. Never liked the original 'Valerie'!

Valerie easily, and it's miles better than Ronson/Amy version.

Paper Planes is iconic and deserves its moment to shine here.

Yeah I'm sticking with Paper Planes on this one! :music: I do like the original of Valerie though (and of course the Mark/Amy version).

Both of these are among my faves of the decade, but the original and best version of 'Valerie' is just slightly ahead for me so gets my vote!

Love both but sticking with “Paper Planes”

The best and original 'Valerie'.
