Thought you'd prefer the two Interactive happy hardcore (1996 and 2003) versions.
It does sound interesting like Party Animals, but the original is way too superior.

the original is much better, those covers are horrible to say the least

Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay is #38 on Spotify today, I absolutely refuse to believe that’s organic.

In fact there’s quite a few old songs that have suddenly started doing really well on Spotify recently despite being nowhere on Apple. Definitely something going on there.

New peaks for both Iris and Bye Bye Bye in Deadpool related news.

Can Billie or Chappell please please please dethrone Espresso soon

Edit: I believe 470,535 is the lowest streams for #1 since 1st January!

They are both in front given Espresso is on ACR - so its probably a race between the two officially

Hopefully, but Please Please Please seems to still have the advantage on other platforms, so it could be close.

it was the same last week and Sabrina won easily, if it were only Spotify...

the Otis Redding I think it's charting cos of tiktok, also charting in the US

This time last week Sabrina was 52k ahead of Chappel and now she is behind so it’s definitely going to be a lot closer

oh great

HH updated, they added Post Malone's latest

but they didn't add Calvin/Ellie :/ think the song will be lucky to go top 40 come Friday at this rate

If Calvin/Ellie wanted a high new entry they should have released a better song. Simple as that!

Still no Madonna? :manson: I see 'Bye Bye Bye' has been renamed on Spotify to 'Bye Bye Bye - From Deadpool and Wolverine Soundtrack' though! 'Like A Prayer' is used so effectively and for a lengthy period of time too (not just a short snippet etc..) Hopefully it (re?)appears soon!

JADE... WRONG WAY GIIIRL! :nocheer: But I'm not sure HHUK has *that* much impact over the weekend. Hopefully a rise back up for tomorrow until next weekend. Better stay top 15 this week! (accounting for however many songs are ACR above her etc..)

Would love 'Like A Prayer' to do a Kate Bush, even though that's quite a tall order - I would struggle to pick my absolute favourite Madonna song but 'Like A Prayer' would definitely be one of the three or four contenders!
The most effective use of songs in the movie I would say (therefore likeliest to catch any traction) would be:

*NSYNC - Bye Bye Bye

The Goo Goo Dolls - Iris

Avril Lavigne - I'm With You

The Greatest Showman Ensemble - The Greatest Show

John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John - You're the One That I Want

Madonna - Like A Prayer

Aretha Franklin - You're All I Need To Get By (with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra)

Green Day - Good Riddance (The Time of Your Life)

All except Madonna (which is in the trailer) are on the official soundtrack album.

I have spoilered because although song use usually isn't "spoilery" in terms of plot or anything, I do think there are a couple of tracks in here that would get a reaction from people if they went to see the movie without knowing they existed in the movie.

That's Avril's bwst sang by a country milw, qwll, that and Hello ... KITTY!!

don't think the signs are there for Like a Prayer, the trailer with the song has been out for weeks with no effect

and now the same with the movie out last Friday

'Like A Prayer' isn't featured on the official soundtrack album either, despite it's extensive use (assuming licensing rights etc..) - It may also be that the scene that 'Bye Bye Bye' is used in is actually going viral on social media rn. But I'd say the 'Like A Prayer' use is more comparable to Florence + The Machine's use in 'Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3' last Summer and iirc, that didn't *immediately* take off (but it also didn't have another songs use overshadowing it, I guess).

I believe Like A Prayer not being featured in the movie album is giving a minor impact as well.

Edit: oops, Tafty has mentioned it before me.
