Not everyone is chart obsessed so maybe she doesn’t care too much but I feel if Charli prioritised apple and fully pushed it a little more it could get #1. That Calvin track is a decent radio song but it doesn’t have huge streaming potential.

oh not the bestest start for Calvin/Ellie's Free

this Gigi Perez song sounds good on 1st listen, debuts at #88 in the US too

Shocked at Calvin/Ellie not debuting in the top 20, thought it’d be a given tbh.

Let alone missing the top 50, imagine both teams are shook

Seems Taylor hasn’t bothered to move at all on her second single ICDIWAB, not even a music video? She’s got lazy in terms of album rollouts; no videos for Cruel Summer and Is It Over both big songs; seems she might only do videos for lead singles now? She’s not going to have anymore hits from this album without a little bit of effort.

I wonder if Billie being above Please Please Please on Spotify is enough for her to go #1 on Friday

She's been doing the biggest tour of all time (4 shows a week, 3.5 hrs at once) and you call her...lazy? Even Taylor has 24 hrs a day.

I said for album rollouts specifically

Not really! Cruel Summer and IION were never intended to be singles, they just got pushed to radio because they were doing so well on streaming.. Cruel Summer was an album track from 3 albums ago that randomly took off when the tour started and IION was a vault track which only got pushed to radio because it did so well on streaming (Slut! was actually the song they originally pushed on Spotify on 1989 TV release day but they switched it up a few days later when IION randomly took off).

Her last actual studio album rollout had a music video for all 3 singles (Anti-Hero, Lavender Haze, Karma) as well as an additional one for Bejeweled, ICDIWABH is the only single from an official studio album in her whole career that doesn't have a video (Cruel Summer doesn't really count), but who is to say its not coming!

pretty sure it's coming, it's a matter of days, if she did 4 videos for Midnights and even fricking Bejewelred got one!
It is only productive to release before an album. If you release a single months later everybody already has heard the song it won’t go nowhere. Especially one that has been in the top 20/10 for months
It would be great to see 360 go top ten

Possibly the first misfire from Calvin/Ellie then... obviously expecting it to climb as Calvin always does but it'll need to make up a lot of ground to keep up their top 10 streak.

'Pink Pony Club' now just 1 place behind 'Red Wine Supernova' and 1.5k streams gap! So close to top 100 for 'Femininomenon' now too.

Lol at 'Bye Bye Bye' having its Spotify tag updated to mention Deadpool & Wolverine :')

I'm not sure. Billie needs to increase her lead on spotify a bit more and sustain it over the week. Sabrina is higher than Billie on Apple and Youtube which makes up for the spotify lead. They're both about the same on Amazon. Although I hope we get the sales for Billie this week to see how much of a difference there is between them. I'm still holding out for Billie's team to release a music video in the next few weeks to overcome the youtube lead Sabrina. Sabrina had a ~300,000 stream lead on youtube the other week which translates to ~500-3,000 sales depending on the exact premium/free streams. So Billie releasing a music video will likely not only overcome that but she'll likely build a lead over Sabrina for the first week which may be enough to get to #1.

"Mamushi" climbing up to #164 on Amazon. Hope to see it re-enter the spotify 200 soon. Megan recently finished the shoot for the music video and she shared some pics on insta and she looks like she'll be serving yet another good video she looks amazing! Hoping they'll release it next Friday as "Mamushi" has lost a bit of momentum and the music video will surely reinvigorate interest and give a streaming boost.

Yeah funnily enough I remember this - we got the video about 2/3 weeks after it was sent to radio in the US even though there were clips of the video in the montage she posted the day Midnights was released months prior
