November 7, 2024Nov 7 Honestly, the Reiss story line is really annoying now. When Bianca said, "Gotcha", I was pleased thinking... Nish down, Reiss to go... But instead it looks like the whimsical geek is going to overpower the tough-nut. Surely they cannot kill Bianca off? Martin to save her to stop everyone from calling him boring?!
November 7, 2024Nov 7 Bianca's caravan holiday  No but I hate kidnap storylines, I just find them a bit boring and lazy, like they don't know what to do with these characters now so we'll just hold of the inevitable by doing this?? It was enough with Lucas and Denise, that's one direction they really didn't need to go in again
November 7, 2024Nov 7 The Reiss storyline is now down to the Hollyoaks, Cleo in the basement, levels
November 7, 2024Nov 7 The Reiss story line needs to end, its getting unbearable to watch, how long do you have to dangle a carrot in front of a donkey, at least without giving anything away, happy times :D Edited November 7, 2024Nov 7 by Mart!n
November 7, 2024Nov 7 The Reiss storyline is now down to the Hollyoaks, Cleo in the basement, levels   And it will probably last just as long :drama: I agree with Lindsey it’s quite a lazy way to prolong a storyline and delay the big climax, Reiss the same as Abe in Hollyoaks has a definite shelf life but for whatever reason they’re trying to prolong it. I assume in this case it’s to keep the story going until Nat Cass gets back, I think they might even keep it going until the anniversary.
November 7, 2024Nov 7 Dear me I thought I was having some weird fever dream during the Reiss/Bianca scenes tonight. It seems way too absurd for Eastenders. They are clearly waiting for Natalie Cassidy to return and Sonia will obviously go into an early labour for the 40th but I can’t see how this can drag on for that long.
November 7, 2024Nov 7 I imagine it will drag out until Christmas, probs won't be the main event but a definite side plot, I just don't get why everyone is so blind to Reiss and isn't even humouring Bianca
November 8, 2024Nov 8 You'd think after all the liars, murderers etc that have lived on that Square that someone would believe Bianca  Sonia is innocent and Martin believes that but can't see how Reiss is in the frame for murder? Like, who else is it really going to be?? Edited November 8, 2024Nov 8 by lewistgreen
November 8, 2024Nov 8 Sonia is innocent and Martin believes that but can't see how Reiss is in the frame for murder? Like, who else is it really going to be?? This, actually. Come on Martin... we know Debbie was murdered... so if you're so sure it wasn't Sonia or Reiss... who do you think it could be? (I hadn't actually thought of this before)
November 9, 2024Nov 9 They just wanna push the "oh Reiss is the unassuming, awkward, nice guy who wouldn't say boo to a ghost" narrative but he's f***ing creepy and they still don't really know him, idk why they're all so blind it's so irritating to watch
November 9, 2024Nov 9 Surely Phil and Sharon would be suspicious? Given they know he tried to swindle them?
November 10, 2024Nov 10 Sharon's been on her 90th holiday of the year so I don't think she's noticed anything, you can barely get her to show up for her own storylines  Phil is apparently battling loneliness in upcoming episodes, that will be interesting to see how they play it I guess?? Also I think they should put Teddy and Bianca together, that's my hot take of the week x
November 10, 2024Nov 10 Wonder how long Patsy's sticking around for. Phil is apparently battling loneliness in upcoming episodes, that will be interesting to see how they play it I guess?? That makes me wonder if Grant will come back for an episode or two! Edited November 10, 2024Nov 10 by Jαsє
November 11, 2024Nov 11 Bernie back today (and back on form too!). I love how she just appears having supposedly been in Germany for weeks
November 11, 2024Nov 11 Bernie just sulking around every corner *.* Not sure what to make of the new arrival tbh
November 11, 2024Nov 11 They just wanna push the "oh Reiss is the unassuming, awkward, nice guy who wouldn't say boo to a ghost" narrative but he's f***ing creepy and they still don't really know him, idk why they're all so blind it's so irritating to watch  This always happens in soaps and it drives me mad, like Bianca is brash and loud and has had her moments and ups and downs, but these people have known her years! I can’t stand when people always take the side of the random person they’ve just met over a neighbour or friend they’ve known for years, purely to keep a storyline going. If they are going to do that, they need to write the character a whole lot better than Reiss so that it’s actually believable, you them build up towards them getting caught out rather than how it is with Reiss where I’m constantly feeling like it needs to just hurry up and happen because I couldn’t care less and it’s obvious anyway
