That would be a bit difficult Paul was killed off in 2004 but if Cindy, Kathy can come back from the dead its an possibility for Paul to return.

I can’t believe Jean remembered Hayley. We’re all still trying to forget. I am a little uncomfortable with the kids’ money from their dad’s life insurance being spent this way particularly if they’re not hanging around.

As much as I'm glad the Slaters are back in the Vic, I'd rather we had landlady Stacey rather than it being Kat and Alfie again

I don’t know about anyone else, but that whole thing with Vinny was giving me seed planting for an exit storyline. Suki suddenly acting very out of character, Vinny having a trip booked to Canada. What’s the betting that he decides to stay over there because there’s nothing left for him in the Square etc.

Yes with suki going on break makes sense also he is one of characters i woild axe atm too

Not sure why tomorrow's episode isn't up on iPlayer (not on TV at all today because of Euros), they don't usually wait these days due to sporting interruptions unless something is happening. Is it a held-back episode airing at 7:30pm only tomorrow?

Also what on EARTH is Julie's accent supposed to be?! 🤣 I've never heard anything like it!! Is she trying to do a Scortish accent?!

Julie's first stint in the show was before my time but would imagine she's from the Lancashire area (where the actress is also from) which is the accent you're hearing

Julie isn’t from Scotland, they just moved there when she got a job up there hence why they exited in 1998. She must also have been living in London some time by then given her son was played by Jon from S Club 7.

I've really been enjoying Julie! Her original stint was before my time as well but she's slotted into the excellent Phil/Nigel storyline with ease.

i'd forgotten Claire used to be a bully, you do tend to forget storylines from years ago.
