August 26Aug 26 I would def think that is foreshadowing with Cindy saying that.Really like Oscar he is a great addition to the show and he acts very well, himself, Priya and Nicola are 3 fantastic additions to the show from the newer cast members, id happily let all 3 have more screen time.
August 26Aug 26 It was good for Cindy to finally throw Steven’s death some proper acknowledgment. I hadn t realised that Max causing it was common knowledge though? Always felt as if only Jane knew and I don’t remember her telling anyone. But that period of EE was so poorly written I might have missed it.
August 26Aug 26 I think it was all revealed in the 2017 Xmas ep so at least Ian, Kathy and Lauren knew and one of which could've told Cindy. Edited August 26Aug 26 by lewistgreen

August 27Aug 27 Marie scene stealing with her "GET... OUT!" line.Joel going from 0-100 was shocking though, you can see this storyline ramping up subtly. Next week appears to be a big week generally with a lot of unknowns appearing to be going on (from reading the non-descript spoilers), it looks like all of the stories are going to merge with a focus during the Trueman wedding. Bryan Kirkwood and Simon Ashdown in on writing duties suggests a big week.
August 27Aug 27 Joel flipping like that in the café was pretty chilling to watch!I saw on social media that EastEnders is going to produce a documentary spin-off about the Joel misogyny storyline that will coincide with scenes on the show, interesting
August 28Aug 28 So much foreshadowing with guns this week. The line from Jack to Oscar saying he "dodged a bullet" at the start of the week, the water guns yesterday, Kim playing with a water gun today, Harry losing that gun. Lemme guess there's a shooting next week. I do wonder sometimes they put these things in because they want people to see the online reaction in the lead up to the story and it's more about seeing the online reaction rather than caring about the story itself. "This did big numbers on TikTok so it's a win for us". Ugh
August 28Aug 28 Tommy and Zoe finally meeting, what a milestone!Jean was much more the Jean I love today, much better than the character she’s been this past year or so.So Oscar taking the gun is surely too obvious? Why would he even go there after everything he’s been through this week. I’m sure there might be someone more obvious but right now I can’t think who that would be.
August 30Aug 30 Zoe’s return on Wednesday (well it’a billed as the “aftermath” so presumably the duff duff is her on Tuesday then Wednesday will be Kat reacting etc) will not be released early on iPlayer and will only be available to watch at half 7 when it broadcasts live!I think unfortunately the fan theories will be correct 👀
August 31Aug 31 Hopefully the storyline lives up to the hype now for Zoe, they have built up her return very well and have teased us nicely so fingers crossed it is a great week, with Simon Ashdown writing the scripts always fills me with confidence though.
August 31Aug 31 My worry for Zoe is that technically she wasn’t a great character to first time round. She’s attached to some iconic storylines (you ain’t my muvva! And Den’s death) but as a character in herself she was fairly annoying and not all that likeable. Recently rewatching her era on Drama just reminded me of that. It’s been twenty years, so hopefully she has been developed in a more interesting and less annoying way.

September 2Sep 2 This week has been great so far. Even Kim was bearable and her speech was good! The Zoe/ Kat scenes were great; Jessie Wallace just does these scenes so well. The scene between her and Tommy too was a great moment too, given everything the two characters have been through. The Mo and Zoe scenes together were nice too. Goes to show that Mo can work as a character when she isn't being disgusting or trying to be funny. Similar to her scenes with Mickey earlier in the year. The gun stuff I would normally say meh to, but you needed something to cut away from and it didn't really dominate things. Can see why they're holding back tomorrow's ep given the cliffhanger/ who might potentially be gun shot victim.
September 2Sep 2 Maybe it's because I've just re-watched the Kat/Zoe week in 2001 (i.e. one of the best weeks of EastEnders, if not the best), but the scenes in tonight's episode weren't hitting as much as I wanted them to. I think the script could be stronger and go deeper.SpoilerI'm also not thrilled about it seeming like Kat or Zoe got shot, I think there's enough drama to be had through dialogue between the two rather than this sensational angle, although I appreciate it would give Zoe a reason to stay with either outcome.
September 2Sep 2 I kind of need Little Mo and Lynne back too. A lot of nostalgia tonight. I noticed Zoe got more uncomfortable after seeing Anthony in the Vic. Is this something to do with her secret?

Is this something to do with her secret?I’ve heard rumours of her having Anthony’s kid when Zoe was written out the show for a bit in 2002/3 due issues Michelle Ryan was having in her personal life. I suppose Zoe giving up a child would be something she would consider so awful that she would avoid Kat for so many years.
