Just seen on Twitter someone saying it was right there to call the cat, Cat Slater 🤣

The mistaken identity of Zoe calling 'cattttt, catttt' would have also provided a bit of light relief to what is a very dark, dull and dingy time for the show right now.

Bit worried about this producer's early tenure as we were spoilt last year for quality.

Right down to another failed pub quiz because of Zoe, it is truly truly laughable, and I know all keep saying this, just how repetitive this all is.

Someone said the big Christmas storyline will be the drugs boss being Anthony or Sam Mitchell or Max lmfaooo. This is eerily similar to Corrie’s rapid downfall especially with the police storylines.

Corrie just turned into the Bill

THIS!!!

When a phonecall to the police and all would have been sorted anyway!!

They were carrying a body in a square, full of light, screeching and screaming, getting their fingerprints on the celotape and everywhere else, and buried him under a pile of chairs in the cafe across the street.

And not 1 single cctv camera in the whole square 🙄

I’m happy to suspend my disbelief for a decent engaging story. The Six was at least that in the run up and immediate aftermath of Christmas.

The problem with what we’re seeing now is that it isn’t very engaging at all. Zoe hunting for a kitten when we’re not sure of she’s lucid, drugs drama, Suki’s ill advised plan to get a fifth attempt at motherhood, Anthony Trueman being there…it’s just not riveting or where we really want to go.

Nicola suddenly being pregnant also feels pretty desperate.

How are they getting approved for adoption, with an active drugs investigation into Ravi, no support from her past kids, and both being in their 50s and with no spare rooms btw??

ALL of this.

Say what you want about how realistic the Six storyline was, it had everybody talking positively about the show and the majority of us were hooked and invested. It's truly sad to see what we have now.

It definitely did that and it was first time in a long time that it happened and also led to some good award wins which also hadnt happened in a while.

Im hoping the current Zoe stuff as naff as it is, is leading to something good otherwise its as clear as day Michelle was stuck for work rather than returning because the storyline was so good.

I just keep thinking about Christmas 2023, how all year led up to it and it was such an event which the big Christmas soap episode should be! This year we’re in November and there’s not a single inkling of what might happen, if anything. I know who whacked Cindy wasn’t exactly classic but at least they kind of built up Cindy making everyone hate her and burning every bridge, it was a culmination of the affair storyline and it had two big families in the centre of it. The only thing I can think of is something to do with Zoe’s child/baby dad and nobody cares a jolt about that atm.

I imagine Michelle probably was stuck for work but also was tempted given how well received the show has been the last couple of years. I’m assuming she didn’t look at any story outlines before she signed because this is dross.

It’s like when Charlie Brooks clearly came back because Covid meant she couldn’t really do anything else.

I wish she’d stay longer but it’ll be good to have her back. Can she help improve the Zoe mess?

What are they even trying to do with Ravi, he would so well as an anti hero type especially now he’s got Priya, but they’ve dragged him down into this cuckooing storyline. A kind of morally gray criminal who was doing it for his family you kind of root for is an interesting character arc.

It’s Will Mitchell’s 18th birthday and he’s been mentioned several times across two episodes. But hasn’t actually appeared.

Why do they not want to develop this character?

He's focusing on his exams in real life, so ism't available for much filming atm - maybe after/ during uni?

Also it is DIRE atm. Utter drivel.
