The OG Abi should never have been killed.

However, at the time I thought the should have killed Lauren instead which is something I’ll happily go back on now. Despite everything wrong at the moment, They’ve actually made Lauren and Peter work now as a couple and the Beales/Brannings are actually the strongest family unit in the show right now. Though I still forget Gina is Cindy’s daughter.

I’ll almost forgive Ben Wadey for everything he’s done if New Year’s Day has a Tanya return, but I just can’t see it happening even temporarily. Of course Abi should be back for this Branning revival in a just world :(

That Christening was high camp, I knew bringing Max back would be worth it if nothing else.

The Slaters and Jasmine also work really well, funnily enough without Zoe is the first time they’ve worked for months

The only tedious link could be because Jean and Mo were cleaning The Albert but even then that's a guess and Kat runs The Vic, Jasmine could've been a barmaid there. This reeks of storyline change after some of the on screen stuff had happened and they're attempting to smooth over it.

Probably because her mother died straight after was basically only kept alive to give birth at that point , so was probably a tribute

Michelle Ryan said she found out 10 days before filming the reveal that Jasmine was Zoe’s daughter, I do think they’ve made it up as they go along and Jasmine was possibly meant to be a Ford but they dropped it for whatever reason. Maybe they couldn’t get the right casting for the supposedly only surviving twin and just thought Jasmine will do

I imagine that wasn’t long after they decided on the twist tbh. Probably around the time Jasmine’s first episode aired-remember Cindy’s badly dubbed line about Slaters always causing trouble? Jasmine’s story has been so inconsistent, they definitely changed it.

Poor Tommy, no one even noticing that it was his birthday (actually was it? Are we still on Boxing Day?)

The episodes have been better without Zoe in them but the Max stuff will get boring even it goes on a loop (like Zoe did). I guess we have the flashforward this week-any predictions for what we’ll see?

I keep coming back to this line. I’m pretty sure tonight was Cindy’s first ever significant scene with Kat. Way to go for the one person who couldn’t have less to do with the Slaters!

And the medical records thing? What was Jasmine even looking for? There’d be no records of an abandoned birth at a GP, and with Zoe having only been back a couple of weeks it’s unlikely her records would have been there anyway.

We’re just supposed to forget all of this.
