The show's in such a frustratingly inconsistent period. There's moments of greatness, even full episodes of greatness, but before long it's back to stupidity, and that's what this entire Gray storyline has been. I don't think they needed to revisit him anyway, and it's involved way beyond the usual suspension of disbelief that EastEnders typically requires. Gray being in the same wing as Ian, somehow getting into the visitor room without having a visitor, that entire prison fight to keep Chelsea in lockdown - laughable drama Please can the whole thing wrap up ASAP, as much as I've enjoyed Zaraah finally getting a chance to shine (the one good thing to come out of this).

Are we meant to believe that category prisons don't exist in the UK and that Grey would be in a prison in the area he committed the crimes in, too??

Im not suprised its so farfetched, like the Queen Vic is literally the only pub in the whole country to not possess CCTV so this falls in line with that

No CCTV for when people are carrying Keanu's body across the sqaure and shouting wildly, but there's plenty of it for petty crimes or for when Janine puts something in a bin, which "MUST BE IMPORTANT!!! People don't use BINS!"

It’s amazing how they kind of started of with Sheila being more than 2 dimensional and then she just got merged into a cartoon villain we won’t see again and there’ll never be any on screen reflection of her behaviour and decisions.

Like in the real world she would be arrested for (attempted) kidnap but hey ho bet she dissappear without any reprocushions

Also the airport stuff for anybody that knows London was off.

For a start, filming was done at Stansted but we were supposed to believe they were at City as they couldn't have reached the other airports in time. But City is a tiny mostly business traveller airport, not like that huge airport on screen with loads of restaurants and shops, and it certainly isn't somewhere you would hang around before security as there's nothing there apart from a small cafe. And no matter what airport she was at anyway, Sheila was just lingering around before security with Jordan for ages for what reason exactly, as Denise and Kim certainly didn't go through security, they were all still in the main arrivals area. If you're on the run with a kid, you would surely get out of the area anyone without a ticket/flight can be as soon as possible.

I think as I'm in these two airports all the time for work it made even less sense to me, but certainly other things have been far more far fetched as listed above!

I thought the same about the club door with the window Lindsey, like where did that appear from!

That's just reminded me of the awful crush scene, with thr extras casually standing around bored, as they played dramatic screams over the top of it. There was also one super tall onw, who was grimmacing awkwardly and looking around, probably questioning his career choices to end up in that half baked scene 😅😅 And there was hardly any extras anyway, with loaaads of space everywhere ans between the extras in this supposedly packed club 🤣🤣

Chelsea telling Gray to die and Priya’s brilliant line about Amy’s brother being her cousin were scraps that we needed.

This Craig stuff really is SHIT though. He’s coming across as the creep he is, they’re not even trying.

They have no nuance, just 2d cartoon villains, like supervillain Warren in Hollyoaks.

Craig has been ridiculous since day one. Can't get over everyone calling him Craig instead of D.C so and ao IMMEDIATELY. They may as well have had a flashing sign saying, creepy new character with big storyline coming up HERE

EE also can't work out if Jack is a superhero or a super corrupt cop so, this time, he had a sixth sense and knew Craig was a bad un from the start.

Yeah I can’t say I’m surprised at that exit, as much as he’s grown as a character and an actor too I don’t know how much he can repeat the cycle of making and breaking himself.

I can see him being the one holding Lauren and Oscar at gunpoint in the flashforward episode actually, it makes sense with them being collateral to Max and he’ll inevitably out for his guts when the affair is revealed.

Another good acting talent going but, like the last one, one I’m not sure I’ll miss as a character.

This is obviously how they’re getting the new family, with some big names exiting. I’ve seen some speculate this is building to a big name return but who actually is there? And would you trust the show with it after what’s happened with Zoe?

I'm okay with that exit at this point, they ruined the character last year and the redemption arc attempt this year hasn't worked as far as I'm concerned given there was no real aftermath for Harry and Kojo, the victims of his actions.

So we dont even handcuff dangerous criminals to hospital beds so they cant escape 🙄 jesus wept can we get anymore farfetched

Totally agree with this.

Clip of the Nicola's 2 sisters arriving...

Hopefully they turn out better than this scene shows. Also PP's accent is kinda awful
