Given how hollow the funeral was anyway, they could have just… pretended the other sisters were there? they don’t need to be on screen since it’s not like the funeral was a massive focus anyway. It just makes 0 sense that they all flocked to Lynne’s whenever she had a problem and she wouldn’t even bother to come to her sister’s funeral, after 20 years of losing touch with her and finally getting back in touch and presumably being close as Zoe had just stayed there.

I always think that with stuff like breaks or maternity leave too, just because someone isn’t on screen doesn’t mean they can’t just say they’re at work or home or wherever isn’t in the scene.

There are clever ways of getting around it but there’s just no effort.

Charlie’s funeral was off screen. Little Mo, Lynne and maybe even Zoe attended it with Belinda showing up to tell Kat she wasn’t invited. That wouldn’t have been out of place for Zoe’s funeral given we never really saw her when she was alive anyway.

When you think of Nigel’s funeral just months ago this was certainly a downgrade.

What’s more funny is Sean turning up because he’s heard Amy’s missing which happens to be on the same day as his cousin’s funeral that he previously said he could not attend. Zoe was not well thought of.
