That was a good ending for Sonia and Bianca.

Rocky kind of made sense, given Terry's appearance. Throwing Carol in last minute when she's been absent for everything of late wouldn't have sat right I don't think for the sake of having her there. Perhaps she can come back separately to have her own story

Also Harry is great and him with both Kojo and Gina is genius, I love Kojo and Gina has really come into her own I feel.

Nicola is played a great actress! I still wish Nicola had been the blood Mitchell though. Had she been Billy’s sister it would’ve felt better for me! I think she could be the female EE villainous I’ve longed for she’s got shades of a few characters too her a Janine esque scheming side to her and the protective side of what Ronnie Mitchell had to her character too.

At least they’re giving Felix someone though even if it is too little too late. The nightmare would have been immediately pairing Johnny with Callum even though Felix was right there.

This is precisely what I feel, the mere idea of Johnny and Callum as an item was sending me to sleep, Johnny and Felix feels a little less predictable so I'm not mad about it.

The actress who plays Nicola is excellent (and running rings around Teddy in that sense), though I can't really be arsed when they veer into gangster-esque storylines. It's nice to see Harry and Barney more integrated now though, pairing the former with Kojo is already a genius move and has the potential to be one of those soap friendships people will remember in years to come if they keep up what they're doing.

Ngl, didn’t miss Cindy at all whilst she was gone. Kathy is still not believable as the attacker and Cindy’s shocked face when Lauren’s waters broke was camp af.

What are they actually going to do with her now? She’ll be the hero of the birth until she ends up in the same old patterns. I remember voicing concern when her return was announced that beyond the shock factor, there’s very little to do with Cindy.

I do worry Nicola Mitchell will find herself in a similar spiral.

I think she'll just be used as a prop to fuel Kathy's storyline, I can see her finding out about her and Harvey and outing them for the drama but then there's really not much point in her being around

I hate to say it but the more I see of new Vicki the more I don’t think I like her. Idk just what’s even the point, Ross and Joel could have been characters of their own I don’t know why they’ve brought back a legacy character to do absolutely nothing and just be a prop for a storyline? I guess Letitia Dean being off work, presumably, doesn’t help, she doesn’t have anyone to integrate with really she’s just there.

I'm in the same boat with Vicki, Ross and Joel. Literally couldn't care less about them, they need Sharon there.

Cindy once again demanding "what I'm owed" from Ian. At this point she can just leave, I hadn't actually cared about her being off screen. We're almost at 2 years since her return and the same rigmarole is TIRING.

I did enjoy the bar scenes with everyone reminiscing about their past births, including Zack's reaction to Phil being involved when Kim gave birth to Mica 🤣

I kind of live for Cindy just being a rotted c**t, but she’s the type of character who would work better just popping up causing trouble now and again, not a permanent figure. Right now it’s going round in circles and I don’t see a way that she can just stay on the square at this point nor do I understand why she would.

Love Nicola and think she makes a really good "Martina Cole" East End tough wife-and-mother type.

Nice to see Jonny getting some screen time. Bit concerned he's up for the chop and will end up leaving with Felix.

The Joel storyline is creepy but very much on trend with the sort of crap teenagers do or have to deal with these days.

I neither like nor dislike the new Vicki. I haven’t seen her enough to make any impression at all. Agreed that Ross and Joel have already done a better job integrating. Sharon being missing is an issue and I’m assuming it wasn’t necessarily planned give the abrupt departure and the clunky rewriting so that Vicki can support Zack on issues she knows nothing of, but it’s very like when Dotty was recast and June Brown just left immediately.

Cindy is a broken record. Her main story was in the 90s and I agree she’d have been better just turning up every now and then to cause trouble. That’s what they should have done instead of killing her off. She doesn’t work as a regular character.
