The Sun are reporting that Jamie Borthwick has been suspended

Confirmed by the BBC that he has been suspended.

EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick has been suspended by the BBC after using a slur against people with disabilities on the set of Strictly Come Dancing.

The offensive remark was made last November during filming for the BBC dance show’s flagship Blackpool week.

Freddie, not a surprise at all

Not a great surprise. Only had one good storyline and was a spare part for the rest of it.

The exit is no surprise, has been totally underused for so long.

Little Mo should've returned too, it was a wasted opportunity

Felix, Bernie and Freddie.

Younger, underused characters which then get thrown in the trash.

I think it's a shame to be honest.

Bernie and Felix were axed where Bobby brazier from my understanding decided to leave.

I’m still gonna be team Elaine, she deserves better. Just like Harvey did.

They definitely need to call it quits with Elaine and George. This constant cycle of him going to see Cindy, lying about it and then pleading with Elaine is tiresome. They both need to be given something else to do.

Didn't even miss Junior so he can nip back to Dubai permanently too x

There seems to be a sudden shift again and its good, pace and storylines picking up. Cementing the classic characters with prominent storylines. Much better than it has been for a while. Someone must have told the actress for Elaine to act less theatre as its working.

It feels wrong George ending things with Elaine. I know she cheated but she should have chucked him long ago.

I feel like he secretly wants this to happen so he can slope off back to Cindy. The way he's had so many chances and Elaine does something (again because of his behaviour) and he's ending it!? There's more to it I suspect
