Such a good feeling about this being a hit, even if it doesn’t chart high it feels like it could potentially hang around for weeks and weeks.

Online reaction looks positive at this early stage of the release and there is a good feeling this will do well for Kylie.

The chorus of Edge of Saturday Night is very addictive.

I think the omission of RAYE on Kylie's tweet saying thank you to everyone is deliberate. She is in the credits with her normal name and i am sure they will have a remix ready with 'Suprise'!!!! its Raye! kind of moment

The fact that R1 are onboard, the initial reaction is positive and that this is a pre-album release makes me this we will see some good placements, it’s an important release for Warner’s to be able to sell the album.

I’ve seen so many comments from people saying they’ve already downloaded it, I’ll wait until we get a midweek and be strategic with my purchases :lol:

 

Hopefully it’ll be such a crossover hit outside of the fanbase that a few eager Kylie fans downloading it this week won’t matter in the long run.

I wonder how they work out the Thursday number off just a few hours streams…guess the computer just divides the Wednesday total by 6 and adds it to the Wednesday figures ha ha.

 

So Kylie’s writing credit is genuine given the song must have been initially formulated in early 2022 or something. Unless the period she’s referring to is the edge of the Aussie lockdown, theirs was much later wasn’t it? Regardless it’s very odd how this was held back so long and not included on Tension.

I think it was Blessed and Jin doing the writing. RAYE added her verse as I think she was the original artist and Kylie added a few lyrics?

 

That write up sounds more like it is from TBM not Kylie saying all that.
