Vinyl releases would be nice and cd reissues of albums if there is extra material they can from the vaults. I honestly don't see them ever recording a new album which I understand so it would be nice to see their streaming presence improve based on what they have already released.

Kelli Young from Liberty X did a live chat with Kimberley, a nice watch! https://www.instagram.com/p/DJFUTousetq/

Kimberley on Sophie Ellis-Bextor's podcast: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0SZL55uFIS...jRYeAMQYBXTRwUA

I haven't listened yet, but I've seen that this is a very emotional podcast and I've read that Kimberley reiterates what has previously been said, that the girls feel zero desire to perform again and that they're still grieving.

Its such a shame the girls are so consumed by commercial success so it hinders them being musicians. Selfishness.

I am not entirely what is meant by this, can you explain??

Was this intended for spice girls forum?

no i mean... like Nicola has sat on a second album for over 11 years and wouldn't release it... Cheryl gave up her last era due to the singles underperforming. It's just a shame they care so much about chat success and not just the art of being musicians.

Someone on Popjustice posted a link to a playlist of videos from Girls Aloud's Style DVD which features Cheryl and Sarah commentating on their music videos from 'Sound of the Underground' to 'Sexy! No No No'. Definitely very bittersweet viewing - I've got to say watching these has hit me harder than the moments the four girls have reunited this past year. I think it's hearing her voice and just how much of a laugh Sarah and Cheryl are having (probably my favourite relationship within the group); Sarah was always so full of life and it really shows in this unfiltered, casual conversation the two girls have.

Here's the first video if anyone wants to watch, I hadn't seen them before but it was well worth doing:

I maybe haven’t seen those since 2007 (apart from Biology via the Popjustice thread!) so I’ll definitely give them a watch. The Biology one made me laugh, Sarah was so repulsed by her updo hairstyle

The Guardian's "The 70 greatest No 2 singles - ranked" list has Girls Aloud - Love Machine at #32!

"The best British pop band of the last 30 years was effectively born out of neglect. Manager Louis Walsh was uninterested enough to let production team Xenomania do what they wanted, resulting in a series of exploratory, rule-breaking singles: the rockabilly-infused Love Machine is just great."

Nicola's hesitation to release stuff has a lot more to do with her perfectionism and insecurity around her music than her wanting to get success. I don't think anyone, including herself, expected her to be a main pop girl as a solo artist in the first place.

Best British pop band of last 30 years that is an accolade!

That is a clear shade at the Spice Girls. :teresa:

It's also true, bravo to them! :cheer:

It's not. They didn't even write their own songs. :coffee:

They have writing credits on Sexy! No No No..., so the writing talent is there *_*

(We shall ignore that the song has 17 writers overall x)
