Did Aled learn nothing from Danny Beardgate?*I remember people being really annoyed when we were stuck with a pre-recorded Sara Cox on a Sunday morning too but it's a really bad idea on weekdays when loads more people are listening and they want to hear the presenter react to things in real-time.You can get away with it on specialist shows late at night I suppose but I think most people would much rather the DJ be live, this is probably why I can't get on with the R1 Anthems and Dance spin-off stations that much. September 12Sep 12 im hoping GK was just unavailable to do it live this time but i fear her language problem was probably enough to justify the pre-taping 😭. It's a shame cos GK is extremely funny and would be perfect for live radio and was solid when she was doing it, they just don't trust her. I'd rather have her do going home instead of Matt & Mol cos they almost always show up to begin with, unlike Vick & Jamie
September 13Sep 13 shout out to whoever decided to play If You Know You Know on 10s Anthems earlier - not sure why they decided to attempt a radio edit of THAT of all songs (especially considering it wasn't even a hit here - only hit #93 as an album track) but go off I guess, love the song even if most of the lines got butchered in the process (surprised they let "trapper turned rapper can morph into Puff" fly considering... events)
