I have no doubt the few remaining tickets will see for the second gig, only about 150 left & they are either aisle or general adm, When Bruce Springsteen came to Limerick we were in the Gen Admin & waited until people went to the bar which is at the back & we then trotted up to the front . I hope security are ready for the Robbie fans . We will have a great view from the stands , I am gone past all that rushing to barriers even if it's Robbie .

We’ve been watching Love Island.
A theme I’m noticing.
Maybe it’s about middle age.

Kissing on the telly has become something that makes my skin crawl.

All the slurping and tongues.

I’ve genuinely no idea.
I’ve got no top lip, so I’m asking as a potential customer.

Thinking about it, there also seems to be less graphic sexy time on TV.
I grew up when everyone was bonking on the telly.
Whether the script needed it or not.
1980s TV:
Couple make eye contact.
Immediate saxophone.
Woman walks into a greengrocer.
Skirt falls off.
Nobody questions it.
Am I right in thinking TV mostly just alludes to it now and we fill in the blanks?
Sex seemed to be everywhere in the ‘80s.
And nobody talked about it.
Much like death.
When I was growing up, if anything remotely sexy came on while my mum was in the room, I’d practically crawl up the wall with embarrassment.
It was horrific.
Anyway...
Kissing.
Sex.
Death.
It’s all f***ing weird.
