OK so I must be good at collecting data for these polls because I was asked to run this by Wardy. Now that 'Apple' has gone top 10 for Charli, let's vote for our favourite top 10 hit containing the name of a fruit. Weird that we went twenty years without fruit-based top 10 titles from 1997-2017 when it was a fairly regular occurrence otherwise!

 

I'm confident this is a pretty comprehensive list but you can let me know below if I've missed your fave or if there's a top 10 hit featuring the name of some obscure and exotic fruit only available on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific.

 

*Yes I know that the Rosemary Clooney song wasn't top 10 but I've included it as a bonus track because... well I couldn't not really, could I, when it's basically the best fruit there is :D (not that I'm expecting (m)any votes for it)

 

(my top 3 from the list are both versions of 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and Mark Owen, with Presidents of the USA coming in a close fourth)
