Posted August 25, 2024Aug 25 Maybe a bit early to be making the thread, but a new Louise album is definitely coming! She's been working on new music for a while. An insider described songs he's heard: "Housey stuff like her early 90s CD singles vibes and also Swedish melancholia - all bangers." Although this can be taken with a pinch of salt, a couple of Popjustice members (who teased things in advance of previous eras) have posted that they think Louise could be releasing a single later this year, potentially coinciding with her 50th birthday in November! Whether that's hints or merely what they want to happen, I'm not sure. Louise performed a new song called Get Into It at Mighty Hoopla back in June, but apparently it's not in line to be the first single: I can't wait for her next #11 peaking opus! :w00t:
August 25, 2024Aug 25 Another number 11 on the way, fair play to her though going ahead with another new studio album, never expected louise to return to music let alone get 3 album releases from her.
February 14Feb 14 Author Unfortunately the entire album, which is called Confessions, was accidentally released to Apple Music… before it’s even been officially announced. Official release date is 23rd May 2025. Feeling bad for her. No doubt the mistake will be rectified in the morning but this is a shame. Wonder how this’ll affect her roll out - maybe it’s worth announcing the album asap now that the cat is out of the bag.

I read this, checked, and the artwork was there and with no tracklisting. I then re-searched and it was gone!
February 14Feb 14 Omg, I feel so incredibly bad for her! :( To be fair, 99% of its sales are likely to be fans buying a physical copy in the first week so hopefully it won't affect her too much.
March 21Mar 21 Love Me More is a bop! 🔥 Getting hyped for this album now. I hope the rest of the album is as strong as the singles so far.
March 30Mar 30 Author Love Me More is a banger I'm wondering how she'll do in the albums chart this time around. Heavy Love and Greatest Hits both reached #11 (with 6,017 sales and 5,755 sales respectively). Average sales for #10 so far this year are 6,315. The previous 8 weeks of #10s have all been on higher sales than 6,017 (apart from one week in which 6,017 was funnily enough the sales achieved).I feel like Top 10 could be out of reach for her again, unless she's fortunate enough that she picks a week with lower sales across the board. It also rests on this album attracting a similar level of sales as the previous two.Just under 8 weeks to go until it's released! However it does, I'm really happy that she's still releasing after all this time, and that her quality control is unwaveringly strong!
