With the announcement and release of "It's ok I'm ok" next week, it seems that Tate's team is aiming for a similar album release of her third album like they did with Think Later last year because this is slated for December after this picture surfaced online and a reliable source confirmed that it's true. I personally think they should have waited until January because Q1 is the new Q4, but we're talking about RCA, so... 🤷‍♂️

Hi all, new here but been following for ages. I love this album, just wish we had a couple more songs like 'Grave'. Glad to see her get the No1 in the US.

Looks like the plans were changed (or the picture above turned out to be false, idk). Either way, it's called So Close to What and it's out on February 21. It will be available to pre-save and pre-order on DSPs from tomorrow and/or whenever "2 hands" is out.

another weird strange title from her <3

good they're gonna for a Feb release, was fearing a sudden drop in mid Dec like last time

So excited for 2 hands and the album! And I’m sooo glad they’re not messing her over with a December release agin. Also manifesting tickets to the arena tour she announced go coencide! So crazy to think I saw her in a 5K capacity genue in April now to arenas wowwwwe
Not a good idea for her to release her album on 21st February as she’ll be up against Sam Fender who will most likely slaughter her in the race for #1 album

She isnt someone i would have thought that would be a number 1 contender on most weeks, more a top 5.

More UK tour dates announced!

22/06/2025 - Nottingham

24/06/2025 - London

25/06/2025 - Manchester

Ok on first listen, it’s another solid album, but I have to say it’s the weakest of her three. Some bits fell a bit flat, which I didn’t find for her other two. I really love purple laced bra, signs, revolving door, I know love, bloodonmyhands and nostalgia on first listen, the others will need a few more listens I think.
This album is SO GOOD, a big step up from the last album which felt undercooked for me outside the singles. I know love

Had this on repeat all day, a really strong album however it's ok i'm ok and Sports car are still the highlights for me! From the album tracks my highlight is definitely 'purple lace bra' but also loooove 'Signs', 'Revolving Door', and 'Means I care'. Still a great album and there's no real duds for me, but I have to say I think I still prefer THINK LATER overall, even though that opinion seems to be unpopular!

Purple lace bra! Emile Haynie in full Born to Die mode, love it.

I know it’s doing quite well, but I feel like Sports Car should be a worldwide smash at this point, it’s so addictive.

A really strong album but missing a decent sad/slower song which I love from her

Dear God, Revolving Door and Signs are my faves!

it is growing on me, ive been a tate mcrae stan since 2022 and her last 2 were both instant clicks, this one some tracks took a bit longer but i absolutely adore this. echoing above, defo missing a slower style song, i know nostalgia is but its missing a 'grave' or 'feel like sh!t' from the last 2 albums. signs is immediately my fave, and i love purple lace bra too- very born to die lana esque. so here for this success shes having! excited to see her sales, id imagine she'll be easily at #2, obviously behind sam fender but comfortably ahead of #3 and lower
