Like with any Kylie-related release in this day and age, I'll expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised if it does something.

 

Honestly this, PP and Tension have got the fanbase thinking she can score hit after hit when that was a pleasant anomaly rather than the norm.

To be fair its her 3rd most streamed track off Tension with 13.5m on Spotify already and her 44th biggest stream song ever on the platform. It never got a video sadly though

Can't see this song being a long drawn out affair especially with the album only 3 weeks away ........

 

Physicals will probably be available week 1 and try make an impact like PP and Tension.

 

I guess the digital album will have LCA as an instant grat from Friday. Video out too on Friday and some good promo slots to make week 1 impact

I've gone back to my default setting of "expect her not to chart, be pleasantly surprised if she manages to" so for now I'll just assume that Lights Camera Action won't chart lol.

I hope so - I wonder if they will push one in a few weeks so that the focus is on people ordering the album now?

I think it will get a physical but what week I'm unsure of.

I think the physicals will come out on Friday at least one of them.

It'll be interesting to see how it does in week 1 with an actual Friday release, video and a physical if there is one - we've been asking for this all along!

 

I know BMG have actually said in the past (I think in the Disco era) that as she's not the type of act to make a splash in the singles chart anymore that's why they did it, but I guess the success of Padam and Tension must have shown there's potential (and that must be why the download of Tension and No Oh No were held back until midnight)

She has bagged the Friday 27th slot on BBC Radio 2 with Zoe Ball. Yassssssssssssssssssss get those downloads!!!!!!!

No idea if it'll go Top 40 (I hope they go all out for a Top 40 debut), but I'm seeing plenty of tiktoks with this in, so I hope it makes a splash!

I was one of those for "EOSN" - thinking it'll be a top 40 hit. But listening to LCA, I have ZERO expectations for the song. Sounds like generic eurodance fluff in the "Prada" vein, that's all over radio these days. At this point, I'm just hoping the middle aged rich gays show up and fork up when she releases 178 variants of Tension II and send the album to no1.

If LCA were released by a 20yo whom R1 would playlist in a heartbeat, then yes. But age and radio airplay are against Kylie, sadly.

Padam did well off American Idol and Capital FM performances

 

She needs to get it out there. Radio play is not everything for early impact.

 

 

She should get good NMF positions. They will monitor this closely I am sure. This is a Kylie release not a feature

 

If she is indeed on Radio 2 on Friday morning and also The One Show and peforms then that would be perfect

 

The video should also do well even just for the curious day 1 views.

 

I think the Extended Mix will be ready to go midweek if it has a chance of top 40.
