We are getting a mix EP with 5 versions, downloads + streaming + video on the same day, radio premiere and rumoured physical release too? They obviously have high hopes for this. Let's hope for top 40.

Fingers crossed this makes some form of impression….the tour is going to be ace, so many new singles to choose from since Golden.

Well the album is only 3 weeks away so we knew they wouldn't mess around.

 

Plus Edge Of Saturday will get pushed too i reckon and maybe another single on release week of album

The Song is getting really good reviews over on popjustice

I caved in and heard it. I think I like the verses more than the chorus! The voice delivery again is fierce and also kind of playful in a 90s Madonna kind of way. It's no Padam (but which one is?).

 

The song is catchy and commercial enough that had this been recorded by a "flavour of the month" artist with streaming numbers and radio support, I can easily see this going UK top 3.

 

Given the "limitations" an artist like Kylie faces, I still say with the right promo, NMF placings and physical release and all, this song still has top 20 potential. Again, no Padam (I don't see it going viral) but it's catchy and fun.

 

On the Cover of NMF Australia/NZ and top of that list at the moment, so even if it drops a few places its looking good.

'Padam' was lightning in a bottle, I have no expectations for her to repeat that kind of performance but if she can grab another top 40 I'll be over the moon.

She is definitely getting top 40 next Friday. Maybe a lot higher!!!!!!!

 

 

and i haven't even heard the song!!!

 

i guess the only problem sometimes with an EP is that it only counts for 1 sale if you buy the EP but seperately if you buy then its 5 sales but more expensive. Plus the EP is on the Itunes album chart rather than the singles.

I think we should really, really get behind this one. It's clear they threw a lot at this single to be at least a minor hit, and I don't want her to go back to "small" releases if this one underperforms, especially after the MOM bad performance!

So if I buy 4 of the 5 tracks off the digital ep will that count as 4 sales but then if I ‘complete my album’ it’ll go down to one sale?

Up to #23 on iTunes in Australia.

 

The EP is at #2, ahead of Lady Gaga at #3.
