The clips are absolutely representative of what to expect. It's very Disco, but the chorus has that 80's synth pop sound and I LOVE it. It's so chaotic, but in a more "radio friendly" way than AOMD or 'Midnight Cowboy' were.

 

AOMD is still untouchable, but it's legit one of the best songs of this Decade so that was always a high bar for me!

 

EDIT: I appreciate her so much for pushing the boundaries with each release and not "playing it safe" and I think that is what will keep people interested in her if they didn't like one song over others etc..

 

EDITEDIT: Several listens in now and... I LOVE it. It's going to be more of a grower for people I think, but when it hits... OOFT.

I really think the big performance of this (whenever it is - Strictly?) is going to be an absolute SERVE. Moreso than an AOMD performance I think! Although, I kind of hope she'll have more than Strictly lined up as their performances are always fairly restrictive aren't they, due to having the professionals dance around them or whatever? - I don't watch and have only seen a handful of guest performances on that show

 

I don't think the EMAs are out of the question...

 

EDIT: Also, I think this would fit fairly well on 'Tension' by Kylie... maybe that's just me though.

Yeah, from the snippets this sounds promising.

 

Jade just seems to have got it RIGHT... a sound that is likely to appeal to radio and for streaming.

I want a full promo strategy for Fantasy TV performances, interviews on TV (BBC Breakfast, This Morning, ITV News) The whole lot! :lol:

 

Now she has AOMD all these interviews / performances could really help start to build her solo profile in time for the album

 

It does feel quiet still but hopefully promo will happen on radio stations from friday.

She really need to get up an album pre-order for a release in late Jan/Early feb. Then get a new single out right at the start of Q1.

Agreed! The pre-order should be up ASAP for the dates you have suggested. A quiet week in January and I’d be amazed if she couldn’t get top 5… the hype is there for her.
