Finally ordered the complete bundle from his store today (hoping it could still end up being here by Friday 👀), I'm so hyped for this!! The Joshua Tree show is looking amazing too, trying not to let myself watch right now though because I wanna go into the rest of the album blind ~

This album is incredible, already a contender for album of the year for me.

The only one that didn't immediately hit me listening through was Sick of Myself, but hoping it can grow given time. Mars and Solitude (No One Understands Me) in particular are incredible! Love how Tango sort of leads into BWABH perfectly, and Zombie Lady a good NMF choice too to keep the campaign going.

I'd probably say something like this after first listen:

I can't stop laughing/cringing at the people who haven't touched grass in 10 years all over Twitter slating him, the album, and the idea that who he is as a solo artist doing his own thing is wildly different to who he is as part of Måneskin. Both can co-exist peacefully but some people are never happy he's put out a really vulnerable, personal album that probably (definitely) speaks to and resonates with a lot of people (maybe not considering the 25 total sales in the UK ) and is true to who he wants to be as a soloist; just like anyone else who goes it alone and breaks away from the sound of the group. But the snobs can't have that. It's all terrible and he's sold his soul x

Gutted I didn't get tickets to either of the London dates later in the year now because hearing this album live would be a dream

I have zero care for Maneskin whatsoever but I enjoyed BWABH when that came out.

I’ve since heard Next Summer and Voices and theyre both great too. And Zombie Lady also slaps.

Yeah I've seen those sorts of comments about and they're a little annoying. There'd be no point in his solo music sounding exactly like Maneskin's.

'Next Summer' was played on the radio in Greece a lot when I was there last week!

I’ve found it hard to get into him properly as a solo artist but I maintain that Born With A Broken Heart should’ve been a worldwide monster hit. It’s got all the ingredients to have been at least as big as some of Benson Boone’s recent tracks but didn’t end up making particular waves.

Oh and he’s still really hot so that helps.

Talk to Me is such a fun breezy bop!

the rest of the deluxe tracks are pretty great too, probably a bit of a disconnect between them and the main album though so could've just been saved for a quick follow up

Yeah 'Talk To Me' is very instant, I thought it was a Max Martin on first listen!

"Talk To Me" is fantastic. Damiano's and Tyla's voices fit perfectly together.

i was at his london show on sunday night and he was brilliant! he was suffering from a cold so you could hear he was a bit stuffy and for the first couple of songs he did do quite a bit of hetting the audience to sing the choruses, but wow considering he was ill he sounded phenomenal! the long note in tangerine was so gorgeous! he covered sex on fire by kings of leon which was reaaaally good too! talk to me has been on repeat since it dropped, it sounded so good live, though it felt a little bit flat when he sang tyla's verse, the two of them sound so good together on that track! he really is a brilliant performer!

Also side note… I am dying for a solo version of tangerine 😭
