November 23, 2024Nov 23 I’m assuming BBC have dropped it or WOW took it back, I watched it on YouTube as it just came up for me and I know they always show premieres so didn’t think of it but it is odd it’s not on BBC! These verses in the challenge were… a struggle bus :lol: Minhi’s was nearly Karen From Finance level but Uma, Tara, Xana and Perla were all varying levels of cringe, but I kind of stanned how awful some of these verses were. Makayla cleared as expected, I also thought she won the lipsync tbh as Virgo was doing a little too much. I can see why Virgo was top 2 as she was a highlight of the episode but I don’t think she was the best in any of the 3 categories, it was kind of a case of her being clear second best in the main part (the music video) so they kinda had to give her a rose. Also adore Jaylene and Helena did very well in the music video too!
November 24, 2024Nov 24 Got around to watching this eventually, and it was a decent premiere. Seems like a good batch of queens. Virgo winning seems a bit strange given how much Makayla dominated the episode in terms of entrance, music video and runway but oh well :lol: glad nobody went home though because by the end of the episode I was loving Tara and particularly Perla so that would've been a bit of a car crash first elimination.
November 27, 2024Nov 27 Watched the first episode, and I thought that Minhi or Uma should’ve got the runway rose over Virgo. Virgo wasn’t even in the top 3 runway looks.

December 6, 2024Dec 6 Perla and her team were great in this episode, but overall my GOD that challenge was depressingly bad. The other two teams just... f***ed around and came up with a whole load of nothing? Shame to see Tara go as there's a few other queens I'm finding extremely meh so far.
December 6, 2024Dec 6 Virgo winning this is probably the most undeserved challenge win since Pink Chadora winning a choreo challenge for eating bread :lol: I thought Helena easily had the best lipsync of the night, Perla was nowhere near the worst, her and Sanjina was the one that either queen could have won but I would have given it to Perla? Sanjina did a bit too much and it was at times a bit offputting. Virgo was good but it was just a basic bog standard pop girlie performance, Hellena had something unique and really showed who she is as a performer. Helena and Perla are great performers, rounded and nuanced and tackled their songs in a way you wouldn’t expect but really worked. Canada is always great with trying new things but I didn’t like this format at all. It would have been fine if it was judged individually or a bracket tournament, there was no need to do it in teams and Minhi who frankly had by far the worst lipsync was safe. Tiffany I don’t think could have done much in this competition so is no real loss but she was cute. Could’ve been something like: WIN Helena HIGH Makayla, Perla LOW Jaylene BTM2 Tiffany, Minhi
December 7, 2024Dec 7 Author Xana do,Xana don't is already annoying me. This was a great ep for Helena and Perla! Tiffany did quite well too. It's unfortunate that all the queens who look out of their depth left are all Asian origin - but Minhi and Sanjina are the clear weakest left, no?
December 20, 2024Dec 20 Xana do, Xana Don’t!!! (Do well in any challenge) Honestly I wish Jaylene got the beaver and Helena would have destroyed Xana in the lipsync, I do think it was the right bottom 3 though as Uma and Minhi did fine.

December 20, 2024Dec 20 If I say Virgo lowkey pushed… She could have easily been TOP-SAFE-SAFE-SAFE-SAFE, Uma or Minhi could have been high over her although Makayla and Perla were a clear top 2 ahead of everyone else. Virgo kind of gives me the same feeling as Venus, I just don’t get a spark or oomph but she’s… fine? Also idk I even feel about Minhi like she’s technically polished, but I kind of hate her drag there’s no edge or spark or oomph to it, but she seems like such a fun person I can’t not root for her a little bit. Which is so CDR coded really :lol: Makayla for me however bad or good she does is the one who feels like a star/main character and gives winner energy.
December 27, 2024Dec 27 Well that was… an episode of Drag Race :lol: Xana not only winning Snatch Game but being the only remotely funny one was kind of insane. You know what, to be fair to Minhi at least she always goes for it. Her character couldn’t have been less funny really but she did give it her best shot and half these queens don’t do that in these challenges. Perla and Helena were perfectly fine I guess. Virgo continues to give NOTHING, even in the lipsync which is supposed to be her bread and butter I barely even noticed her but then these three way lipsyncs are often disappointing because there’s not as much room on the stage so the queens are stifled a bit.
December 30, 2024Dec 30 Author This has got to be the most interesting set of track records a Canada season has ever had no? For me at this point it's Makayla's to lose. Thought it was between her and Jaylene.
December 31, 2024Dec 31 Canada loves a f*** ass TR but Xana, Perla, Makayla and kind of Virgo all have wild TRs at this point. Minhi has done consistently well to be fair to her bar the horrifically awful Go Off Queen verse but she has 0 winner energy. Makayla regardless of TR I feel has it all, she has had a strong win for girl groups, she’s been in some Untucked drama, daughter of a previous winner and makeover guest, plus she’s had ups and downs so it feels like it’s been a journey.
