Apple is #9 combined and 360 #15. I've got no clue which other 2 tracks are going to chart with Apple and Guess on ACR this week :thinking: Perhaps Talk talk which is still SCR and 360 could get reset?

Apple and Guess will probably get “resets” but you won’t see it until the chart is announced on Friday I think. If you see them in the mids, they’re there purely on ACR, but we will know if they’ve been reset on Friday’s chart. (I believe that’s how it’ll go, anyway)

Yeah most of the time resets aren’t seen till Friday - like how Joseph wasn’t prepared for Milli Vanilli as their reset wasn’t registered in the mids, but applied for Friday

Guess had 27% increase compared to last week Friday's Spotify update. I would be surprised if kept above 25% for the rest of the week to get reset.

 

Apple meanwhile has had 103% increase and 360 a 180% increase so I'd think those 2 are more likely to be reset than Guess but there's still the whole week to go. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. Guess could even chart without a reset

Sympathy is a Knife works like a charm too, kinda fun to hear Ariana over a hyperpop-adjacent beat

 

I might say something stupid is a real surprise, effectively full-on turning it into one of The 1975's more ambient/electronic cuts, gorgeous production from Hopkins on this

 

Caroline and Bladee owning on their remixes as they do, that looped vocal refrain from Caroline around the halfway point ughh :cheeseblock:

god i loooove this version, feels like a more optimistic companion piece to the original, with more a sense of acceptance, cherishing memories and a celebration of SOPHIE in general :heart: crying all over again

 

B2b remix is another serve, sound-wise would've fit snuggly in on Pop 2 tbh

 

Apple w/ The Japanese House is cute enough, not a drastic change but gives the original a little added shimmer

not sold on the Mean girls mix tho, Julian's verses interpolating Owner of a Lonely Heart is amusing tho the track wears kinda thin by the end

 

the Bon Iver remix delivers though! great enhancement of the original's existential theme and lyrics

 

365 w/Shygirl SLAYSSS but only 2 minutes and 1 second of it is criminal xx

 

Mean girls remix is a complete HOOT and I love it. I also wish 365 remix was longer. The Altern 8 - Frequency sample works so well.

I watched the Apple Music interview last night which was really good. It's great to see the creative process behind the album being discussed directly by Charli, worth a watch if you've got a spare hour (it's on YouTube)

The mean girls remix with Julian Casablancas gets better with each listen omg

#2 in the mids with 15.8k sales so far (no breakdown of streams vs physicals tho unforch) just over 7k behind the #1 but I doubt that has many more sales to add unless he does signings or something? Hopefully that’s not too hard for Charli to overcome I imagine she’ll add the 7k by Friday and hopefully get #1!

 

Shockingly the one we thought would be her competition (Coldplay week 2) is down to 6 with less than 5K sales, but by the looks of it all their physicals were included in their mammoth total last week so reliant on the little streaming sales they’re pulling

Just checked Paul Heaton's last 2 albums opened with 19k and 20k. Assuming he is going for similar numbers, Charli should be able to catch him with streaming numbers throughout the week?

Come on Charli! It fully deserves at least one week at #1 considering its domination this year.
