April 25Apr 25 Author It's brilliant, just makes me think though how well they could have done in the contest with a ballad like this.

I'm just in awe as to why y'all like it so much. The tempo changes bother me sooo much. The chorus should've been more like the 2nd verse
April 26Apr 26 It’s fun, catchy and imo it has a very “classic British” sound to it (ala Queen). It’s very theatrical and as a big musical theatre fan, it’s right up my street.I am still pretty obsessed with this and the more of the performances I see of them performing this, the more I want it to do well.
May 3May 3 Author That performance is insane, there’s too much hate for this song in fan circles. It’s a fun track sung incredibly well. The second verse in particular is wonderful. Sure I can see why people find it disjointed but it’s basically like a song from a musical as Jonjo says, and not really a chart song, so I guess it depends on how many theatre fans are watching/among the juries. It’s not like I’m expecting big things for it, and the public vote could well be minimal, but if the juries ignore it then I don’t get that with the evidence presented in that performance.
May 3May 3 I really hope they manage top 15. They have been an absolute delight on the promo tour and you can see they genuinely love and are fans of Eurovision!
May 11May 11 Has anyone noticed how vile the online fans are being towards the UK this year? I’ve never seen anything like it. Edited May 11May 11 by eurovision4ever
May 11May 11 Yeah I’ve seen some stuff. It really makes me think it’s still partly about politics Still really enjoying the song into the lead up. The staging looks fun and we know they can sing it live. I can still see 100+ points from juries and something stupid like 10 from the public….
May 12May 12 Even the 'more reasonable' people are often making the argument of : 'Yeah they're good singers but they're saddled with a bad song'Like hell they are, the reason this thing is at the top of my rankings is the song's structure, it's the sort of structure that makes you convinced over the course of its runtime. I am really hoping that it's a surprise hit, I've seen good reactions from the rehearsals, just some uncertainty about staging.
May 12May 12 I don't dislike this at all, but also cannot see it doing anything in the context of Eurovision. Would the ESC fans and the general public who are interested in music for that 4 hours every year just because of the contest choose to VOTE for this? I don't think so.
May 12May 12 It is differnet to all the other songs this year, its not a bad song but i dont find it memorable either but i think they will deliver a really strong performance and hopefully the juries help them to achieve top 15.
May 12May 12 If Remember Monday do finish at or near the bottom, should the BBC bring back the public selection show? Edited May 12May 12 by zenon

Nor the BBC, tbh.I can't recall another entry where the hate has felt so forced.

May 13May 13 I've not been keeping up but does anyone know if they have any staging? Like someone said previously without a label I fear they are going to have little / no staging and it's the sort of song that needs staging to elevate it.
