March 7Mar 7 I don't love this immediately, the chorus doesn't quite hit as hard as it could, but it is an impressively adventurous entry from us and a nice break from the boring Radio 2 fodder we normally go for (including last year hoping for an established artist to cancel that out). As always, hard to tell how well it will do, but some promotion, a memorable, striking yet also endearing staging (again we didn't get this right last year) and good vocals on the night, then I'd hope this will at least capture more of the juries attention.
March 7Mar 7 Have they been signed by a label for this? If they aren’t then part of the problem before Sam Ryder was that the act was unsigned which meant the BBC had to foot the bill for the promo and staging. So everything was done on the cheap. You need a label to be invested in them doing well to set them for after the contest. Edited March 7Mar 7 by darrens94
March 7Mar 7 I just heard this for the first time, and I'm not really feeling it, I give it a couple of more listens. Nice try, but we seem to be doomed. They do give me The Last Dinner Party vibes, maybe they should have sent them instead.
March 7Mar 7 Im not sure on this, i like the faster parts of the song more but im struggling to see how it will come accross on stage, i don think it has any chance of doing decent though,
March 8Mar 8 Well, I liked it on first listen and I agreed with The Last Dinners Party comparison. I can't see these ladies doing well on Eurovision though. I think they're all young but they all look like middle aged women in the video. Too much make-up maybe? Edited March 8Mar 8 by Jason
March 8Mar 8 No one will vote for ir due to what they did to Kant anyway, even if it was good! It's all up to the juries.
March 9Mar 9 Author There is very little jury bait this year - even less now Sweden and Portugal chose how they did - so don’t count this one out on that metric.I reckon after the first rehearsals UK odds will shorten as I expect the group to put on a great, theatrical performance and pull out a world class vocal, and that is not usually the kind of thing juries ignore. The televote has plenty of other, more instant party stuff to vote for this year so it’s really all up to the jury on this one I expect.

March 11Mar 11 I will be very surprised if this scores 0 points with the public. I only hope we don't get a situation where it's like 100 points from the Jury and 10 points from the public
March 11Mar 11 I am seriously obsessed with this. It's definitely my favourite entry of ours since Molly, I think.
March 11Mar 11 found the song so-so, not better than last year's, but not much worse either... depends a lot on the performance on the night ig x
March 15Mar 15 I've only just heard this properly in full, I absolutely love it!I could see it doing really well with the right performance, it's interesting and individual sounding without chasing any particular trend or anything. And it's got just the right amount of camp sensibility!
March 18Mar 18 Its a bit Stooshe sounding too I think! The melody in the fast bit is also like Billy Joel's 'My Life'. Edited March 18Mar 18 by TheSnake
March 23Mar 23 This is just so, SO good.I really feel optimistic about this and I really don't know why! I just think it's going to be a surprise hit. I can't wait to see the live performance of this (or to just hear this live in general tbh! When is Graham Norton's show back?)
