With it landing om Thursday suprised Halloween tracks didn't hold better this year with people having parties last night instead

Would be great if The Cure's 'Alone' can make the top 100 this week though still not holding my breath with it failing to dent the Spotify top 200 (I'm a little surprised it made such a muted debut on streaming the first week it came out tbh, didn't expect them to be huge streamers or anything but it was a very long awaited comeback so thought it might have at least made a little bit of noise).

 

Shame about the Thursday streaming situation meaning the Halloween songs' chart impact this year is basically meaningless - at least with Christmas songs they are generally popular for the whole week whereas Halloween songs only really do huge numbers for one day. Ofc Halloween will be back to a Friday next year though so if the trend of the songs doing better numbers on streaming each year continues they could do very well then (for a chart show not aired until 7th November lmao). Iconic that 'Ghostbusters' and 'Monster Mash' now both have top 2 peaks on Spotify anyway *.*

Recovering/climbing quite nicely with Halloween/Tyler songs falling. Youtube numbers not too bad as well which should help. With ACR taken into account, I think the song should remain top 20 in its second week on the charts which would be good!

The Cure songs are all very long, Alone was like 7 min long, some even 10 min long, so not exactly streaming-friendly

in fact all three of Weeknd's singles of this new era have been very disappointing.
