I’m thinking the label will push FUFN there. I know it depends on Spotify too but I feel like they believe in that song for somw reason.

This has now overtaken MC’s Spotify streams after just 3 weeks! :cheer: Her monthly listeners is also on the rise - 2.7m now.

So was 'Midnight Cowboy' the fatal error here?

 

 

I think it definitely confused things a bit.

I think to go from the major success of Angel and all the massive media coverage of her solo career and her being heralded as the true solo success from Little Mix, to having her second single spend one week Top 100 must mean something went amiss somewhere...

 

And that could just be Midnight Cowboy.

120k Spotify streams yesterday, which is pretty good for a Sunday. Needs more playlisting though.

I honestly just want her and her team to move forward with FUFN and the album announcement.

I love how it never dropped under 100k tho which shows her stability her team should see that but yeah i can imagine they go full in for fufn i'm smelling the snippets already soon and i'm so ready :yahoo:

Yeah I think you’re right - especially now that they have dropped it from their playlist already. Fantasy got multiple weeks on A List despite not doing much lol.

 

Maybe the title should revert back to promo single since we currently have two ‘3rd single’ threads? :P

R1 don't playlist non-singles so I very much think it was a single - though whether it was always planned to be one or not is another matter.

Also it got single level promotion on her socials

 

Whereas MC barely got a couple of tik toks in total

12 days later and now over 8 million streams. Fantasy is on 8,440,801 for comparison!

This is the B-Side to FUFN physical copies! Seemed to be an exception more so than a rule for R1 to playlist it. I assume they playlisted it just so they had sonething to play at the start of the year as “an artist to watch” kinda thing.

Also this is now less than 100k from overtaking Fantasy overall streams on Spotify!
