I see the Earth Kitt version is top 100 today but no sign of Kylie.

 

The EK version is the chosen one by Spotify etc - we just need them to get behind another KC track now!

At least she has three others picking up decent numbers but it’s so strange how EDLC, CICTYGH and White December aren’t performing much better. Funny how Oh Santa (her original take on Santa Baby) has had some limited success the last two or three years.

I dont know what could be done to make that happen unless Kylie promoted one of the songs herself and got behind it.

It's a pretty good playlist, although weird it's called the 100 Greatest... when multiple tracks are repeated, so it's not actually 100 different songs!

I was quite surprised last year, in the year she'd been more popular than she was in many years they kinda ceased support for her at Christmas.

Me too, in years she was less active it's done better, might take a year or longer now for it to become a million seller for her.

Just shows the power of playlisting especially for seasonal songs.

Yes Spotify are giving Laufey the support alongside Eartha.

 

Kylie version still on plenty of those 100 Christmas Compilations and other decent playlists.

 

Quite annoying how they just ditch Kylie for Laufey. Think we’d all be fine with that if they added CICTYGH instead. Imagine if they did that to all of Bubles versions of other people’s songs!

It's annoying the kylie version is been pushed aside especially when not replaced by another kylie Christmas song but considering it was never really a single and gets no support from kylie we can't really complain.

I'm surprised in a way kylie doesn't do anything to plug the song even on socials as she is a savvy business woman and christmas songs can be lucrative plus help give an artist further chart exposure.

There is a high possability from how things currently look that Santa Baby won't make a chart appearance this year.

Would be surprised if it missed the Top 100 - it’s chart power has been fading for years but it always manages to creep in quite late.

If it makes it's way through it likely will be in the 90-100 region of the chart.

Has she? Hers is like a jazz version and she doesn't really sing it in the same way :unsure:
