I think the triple counting of Queen albums is definitely wrong and a head scratcher by the OCC. Seems designed to allow it to remain forever the biggest selling album. It's certainly the only thing

“Mayhem” knocking out “Alligator Bites Never Heal” from the Top 100

@Julian_ I think there's something off with your last column of totals

if only Tate's totals were that high...

I think Ed probably takes it this year with how early he's going to release but I think Sabrina likely takes highest album not released in 2025

Yeah, last column does look a bit out of synch. Gotta love the ability of ABBA though, selling 2k more this year than the Album has sold overall. I am jesting, you do a great job putting all this together :)

Still think sabrina has a good shot, like we don't even know when eds releasing yet, we haven't heard anything from it yet , plus his last 2 haven't exactly sold by the bucket load

Autumn variations took ages to go silver and not even reached gold yet (I know it was released independently)

Subtract hasn't gone platinum either and that's almost 2 years old

That all makes sense. It'll be interesting to see what happens

“Alligator Bites Never Heal” replacing Lil Baby’s “Wham”.

ABBA - Gold: Greatest Hits - 57,000

Queen - Greatest Hits - 41,000

Any chance of Abba overtaking Queen to have the top selling album of all-time in the UK?

10 minutes ago, 777666jason said:

180k sales already , unless Taylor finally drops Rep TV or a brand new album who's left

Can imagine Harry Styles would have a shout if he releases this year, can't be far off his next era.

4 minutes ago, JosephBoone said:

Good shout , like I know eds got his too but I'm not convinced it will be humongous

I think it's Sabrina's to lose with the advantage she already has

by the time Ed or Harry release, Sabrina will have already a lead of >200K

Sabrina is just too consistent. Somebody would need to do 250k+ first week to have a chance

and then maintain high figures via streaming til the end of the year

Sabrina did nearly 20K last week

even if Harry or Ed do well in week 1, cannot see their albums doing 15-20K every week until the end of the year

I think if someone overtakes her it will be for a few weeks and then she snatches it back , at the pace she going she on track to do more than last year , and wasn't she top 3 last year
