Chrystal clinging on to the top 10 - Billie could get back there for 1 week before Olivia rightfully gets there for year end. Billie could still do 1m for a second year though.

Can't see any obvious new entries next week - Dakota back for Burning Down me thinks

It will surely be back temporarily at least. I now think “Mutt” might fend it off to the year end though.

Sapphire jumping to #58 surprises me a bit. Am clearly overestimating one of “Austin” or “All the Stars”, which one is at #57 please

Also, no new peak for DAISIES?

All The Stars - #57

Austin now dying - #61

having a proper look at sales now, think the estimate for Golden is a little high?

Just this week’s or also previously? I estimated 44.5k this week.

Nevermind I messed up when making my estimates sorry! 😆 Feeling like it has a better chance of overtaking APT now

"Mr Brightside" and "Shape of You" must be very close to each other now? Based on the number of days since their last certification, and the number of days taken to reach their last certification, and assuming that their consumption has not slowed down or sped up during that time, I had Mr Brightside at 6,740,000 and Shape of You at 6,756,000 this week.

Full calculations as follows

Shape of You 175/672 * 600,000 = 156,000

Mr Brightside 70/301 * 600,000 = 140,000

It's logical to assume that Shape of You might have slowed slightly, thus making them even closer?

Hard to say on that. In the very long term “Shape Of You” is declining but not necessarily over a shorter period. Ed’s back catalogue had quite a big spike up in the middle 6 months of this year due to his new material. It’s fallen back a bit again now but might still be higher than at the beginning of this year.

Update on Ed Sheeran v The Killers v Wham! for all-time best seller:

I feel Wham! are marginally ahead on Spotify today of where I expected them to be - and today is probably the first day where we can do a clear comparison - so it still looks likely that The Killers will overtake/have overtaken Ed Sheeran last week, this week or next week, and Wham! will climb into first place on Christmas Day - with the usual caveat of how the OCC estimates Christmas Day streams.

Think Dakota will be back this week with either Cruel Summer or Burning Down out. I have a feeling that those 3 plus Mutt will be the only songs left on the list that won't make it to the YE unless Dive is doing better than I think/Brenda does enough on Christmas week

Thought Another Love had lost its chance, not looking good for Dakota in that case even though I am very confident Brenda is going to miss now

Yeah think it’s between “Another Love” and “Mutt” for #100 - most likely Tom will hold.
