First time that my favourite hasn't won in the ITV era! A bit gutted for Danny as I think it would've meant a lot more to him

I found out about Jack binning off one of his kids today so I now hate him, but he just brought me nearly 700 quid so I can't complain. Every cloud!

Haven't watched a second of this since an episode or so after Mickey got ejected, but lol at that result. The bored Corrie stans really said we're not taking it lying down this time x

The right winner for sure for a change although in a way Jojo deserved to win but it’s hard for Americans to win this show

Out to the two I’m glad it was Jack . Which I can’t believe I’m saying as if you would have asked me at the start of the series I would have definitely said Danny 😂 there is something quite likeable about Jack and although he weren’t my first choice of winner he grew on my a lot throughout the series .

It's like 1990 World Cup again, at the last minute against Belgium David Platt volleys a last minute winner...! Only this time I'm not cheering should've been Danny.

He was on it a lot on the civilian series in Oct! He was a bit mad on it too which made me think he’d be a lot better craic in a confrontational way on this but he was a nice guy mainly probably because he wanted to win.

Jack’s alright I did enjoy him but now it’s happened I am disappointed for Danny. It would have meant a lot to him as a fan of the show for one.

I don’t think Jack would have won if he wasn’t who he is with the same personality, the Corrie fans go a long way. I had a feeling he’d win just because Colson came third with a more muted personality and he’s a much smaller character.

He comes across relatable and down to earth which is obviously quite appealing . I don’t mind Danny but it was obvious he was quite desperate to win which is not as appealing .

Ooft just seen that Jack won with a 37% share of the votes and Danny got 35% - so close!

I didn't mind jack winning but would have preffered a Danny win as it would have meant more to him.

Jack's reaction to winning was so muted in an iconic way but its not as it will make any difference as he will go straight back to his corrie life.

Isn’t he leaving?

All in all this has been a great season and reminded me of classic big brother!
