Option 1 would be better. Christmas songs in the chart but only on pure sales. People can still stream their favourite Christmas songs but the streams just won’t contribute to the charts

Why if you did that you may as well exclude them all together because realistically only about 3 people are actually gonna be purchasing the christmas songs 🤣

I estimated 22k for “Beautiful Things” last week so with 21,944 this week it must have been close to avoiding again. We should all make an offering to the chart gods. 🙏

That's so unfair Xmas songs are exempt. It really doesn't allow for fresh Xmas songs to chart. So boring seeing all the classics charting every single year.

The newer Xmas songs (apart from those by big contemporary artists) will always take a few years to become big!

there are slight changes to Xmas songs over the years and I like that the chart shows this. Albeit it’s mainly because of biased playlisting by non Uk sites!

It looks like "Soda Pop" is on ACR this week as "How It's Done" has replaced it in the mids.

this week's estimates

Sabrina Carpenter ~ Tears

DCL-2

Denon Reed and Cru2 ~ Let Him Go

Doja Cat ~ Jealous Type

Olivia Dean ~ Man I Need

Olivia Dean ~ Nice To Each Other

Tyler, the Creator ~ Sugar On My Tongue

DCL-3

Alex Warren ~ Eternity

Lola Young ~ D£aler

Marino ~ Devil In Disguise

Rihanna ~ Breakin' Dishes

Saja Boys ~ Your Idol

Sombr ~ 12 to 12 (maybe???)

SCR

Gorillaz ~ Feel Good Inc.

Gunna ~ WGFT (feat. Burna Boy)

Huntr/x ~ Golden

Katseye ~ Gabriela

Luke Dean and Omar+ ~ Make Believe

Oskar Med K ~ Make Me Feel

Role Model ~ Sally, When the Wine Runs Out

Sam Fender and Olivia Dean ~ Rein Me In

Sienna Spiro ~ Maybe

Who the hell knows at this point?

Chappell Roan ~ The Subway

With "Your Idol" going onto ACR, it looks like either "Soda Pop" will re-enter but still on ACR, or it's a brand new entry for "What It Sounds Like".

Which track will replace Tears when that goes?

Depends on actual streaming numbers but tears manchild and WDYGH are all current top 30 on spotify then HT is 59 and Nobody's son is 77 , so tears could actually still chart on acr at this point
