I estimated 22k for “Beautiful Things” last week so with 21,944 this week it must have been close to avoiding again. We should all make an offering to the chart gods. 🙏

Can they only reset one then

Who knows with the OCC

In 2024, they only reset Cruel summer when IION? Was still doing well also

Think they reset an artist's top song every year unless the label specifies the song they want to get a reset - in most cases I imagine they would want their top song reset anyway

Iirc they reset Cruel Summer instead of Is It Over Now? At the start of 2024

They did, Cruel Summer would've been higher on the ACR-less chart so that checks out

Could be close between Raye and

Wham! for #1 this week then?

I expect Wham will be easily number one

this is the first weekend in december so their streams will be even more massive

This is how it's worked usually but last year, both The Door and Bad Dreams got resets for Teddy Swims, so who knows quite honestly.

(also not sure Taylor's confirmed anything as 2nd single yet)

The trouble is with the album already being as huge as it has been the best she can hope for is to push the hell out of something that hasn't even charted yet because the 3 that have are unlikely to repeak

That didn't stop her with Lavender Haze - I guess it's more about having a song on radio to keep the album in people's consciousness, and it already had a high peak so it didn't really matter how it did upon single push.

I’d rather she pushed Father Figure. Great song and tribute to George Michael

Oh I agree although I lavender hazes defence it didnt do an opalite and ET and linger behind AH almost for 2 months

It was also one of the weaker songs from midnights

Songs confirmed to be on DCL-3 this week:

Olivia Dean - So Easy (To Fall In Love)

RAYE - WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!

this week's estimates

DCL-1

Esdeekid and Rico Ace ~ Phantom

Kate Bush ~ Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)

Sam Fender and Olivia Dean ~ Rein Me In

Skye Newman ~ FU & UF

DCL-2

Esdeekid ~ 4 Raws

Huntr/x ~ What It Sounds Like

Sonny Fodera, D.O.D. and Poppy Baskcomb ~ Think About Us

Tate McRae ~ Tit for Tat

DCL-3

Huntr/x ~ How It's Done

James Hype ~ Waterfalls (feat. Sam Harper and Bobby Harvey)

Olivia Dean ~ So Easy (To Fall In Love)

Raye ~ Where Is My Husband!

SCR

Cher ~ DJ Play A Christmas Song

Dave ~ Raindance (feat. Tems)

David Guetta, Teddy Swims and Tones & I ~ Gone Gone Gone

Djo ~ End of Beginning

Laufey ~ Winter Wonderland

Sam Fender ~ People Watching

Sienna Spiro ~ Die on This Hill

Sienna Spiro ~ You Stole the Show

Sienna Spiro ~ Maybe

Zara Larsson ~ Lush Life

Alan Jones has in the Sales report that 'Rein Me In' is "safe from ACR for at least three more weeks", which would put it on the SCR list rather than DCL-1 (perhaps a moot point as it would then be getting an instant reset in January anyway). Its drop in overall sales this week must have been more than covered by the physicals from last week, with its streams up.

Both should get reset next month

I wonder if there will any non Christmas songs in the top 10 on Christmas week, all the top streaming non Christmas songs are now on ACR
