If little delusionals are excited by a song, it necessarily means that it won't be a hit, especially with only 4 days of tracking and without any playlist support. Talk about a bad strategy.

Consequence lists Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” as the 2nd best song of 2025 so far: “For the last decade, Lady Gaga has asserted herself as an actress. She’s always toyed with scale and theatricality,

If the song is going to be a hit, it will be a hit no matter when it's released.

I'm super annoyed at the Sunday release because it will massively dent her debut week peak (which is usually strong for Gaga given the fanbase downloading en masses etc) but if it's going to catch on and become a hit then the debut week doesn't matter. We shall see, but yes super annoyed at the Sunday release.

It would be a slightly smarter move (seeing as Kendrick has his superbowl Sunday so we're fried anyway) but I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for any success from this considering her label was specific when they said she was going to drop it today. She should have dropped it last Friday, the Grammys don't have the exposure they had 10 years ago, they're just wasting tracking days in the hope that Grammy slot will work a miracle.
And when the video comes out with the song, it loses 3 days of tracking and its minimal chances of charting are completely destroyed... It's like we can never fully win. She is surrounded by amateurs who cannot keep up with the current music industry.

"Abracadabra" is a total BOP! Just premiered with the music video in the US, hopefully on her youtube momentarily!

It's here!!

Also out on Spotify/Apple etc.

Omg. This is genuinely incredible. What a music video!!

This truly is Godga back at her actual best creatively speaking. I’m actually a little emotional at this!

Definitely think this has potential to be more GP friendly than what Disease was too!

I have cried since I woke up (it’s 4:37AM as I write this here)…

THIS is what should’ve been the true successor roll out to Born This Way. The song, the video, the visuals and the choreography (AND the energy). For me this is what she tried to do with Alejandro and Born This Way the video but executed it 50 million times better. This is art, and a masterpiece of one!

I cannot believe and saying that I genuinely think this….might overtake Disease in my Gaga song rankings and that for me is her 5th best song EVER. This era is so strong, so so strong and I have not had this little monster fanning lit up in me since she rolled out Judas/The Edge of Glory/Hair before the album release of Born This Way.

What I can describe Abracadabra is….if you take The Fame Monster (more specifically Bad Romance), mash it up with Born This Way but tone it down with Joanne and give it Disease outfits and Alejandro music video visuals to the aesthetics then you get this song (and video) as a final product.

Speechless. 1111111111/10. Well DONE MOTHER!

this is incredible

i’m really struggling to picture this being a big hit. obviously it will chart cause it’s Gaga… but i just don’t foresee this making many waves

that said, in MY opinion, f*fcking phenomenal

I actually think this will be a bigger chart hit than ‘Disease’.
1M views in just three hours... Everything about this video is fire.

I loved the Exorcist reference and the fact that she's including her new alter ego throughout the era.

The song is a 7.5/10 for me though.
