this Alex I thought it was low key singer songwriter for some reason

but apparently he is a big tiktoker/youtuber/influencer thingy so was kinda expecting it today

 

good to see Gaga over 500K, that's more than APT ever did, and very close to Messy today

Gaga is also #1 in the US today with > 2 Million

Messy is only ahead on Spotify and AM by a short gap, while Gaga is ahead on Amazon Music and YouTube and she can drop physicals at any time so be careful

Would never have thought that Alex Warren would debut top 10.

Alex Warren's had a fanbase for a while, he scored a couple of minor top 100 hits before Carry You Home and they surprised me in how fast they took off for someone I hadn't heard of beforehand. Not shocking that, now he's had a couple of hits, that fanbase is bigger, but a top 10 debut is much higher than I'd have expected.

 

Amazing for Gaga! I think it'll be unlikely to topple Lola this week as today's update included a NMF bump and it still couldn't quite get ahead, but I would love to see it continue to grow.

She can, but there's obviously a NMF boost today, and that playlist is only advertised for a day so I wouldn't be surprised to see a slight decline for Gaga tomorrow. It depends whether she can gain traction after the weekend really, and she probably can, but it'll be a game of catch-up by then for this week's chart and there's no guarantee she'll pass Lola anyway.

Just FYI Messy had 517k last Friday and today 541k so it actually increased and may also go SCR again too. Only way Gaga goes #1 is this week is with physicals on my opinion or if her fans go crazy on iTunes with an acoustic etc version

Alex Warren was a YouTuber/TikToker years ago, but he’s basically a full time musician now. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of his fanbase now only know him from his music.

Rema coming for a second hit as lead artist finally. LISA on course for a first Top 40 which would mean all of BLACKPINK getting there outside the group.

 

The Sonny Fodera song is a lot better than 'Asking' and 'Somedays' so wouldn't be opposed to it having some of the same success.
