The OCC always reference in various articles the CD singles charts, 7” vinyl charts, cassette charts etc., - I wish they were published even though sales are next to nothing I’m guessing for most of the chart.

Me too but I don't think it's something that will happen

Spotify reach has actually increased a little to currently 24.8m listeners. It peaked at 41m in release week. Good to see it being added to playlists. I guess the remixes will be published same time

Over 3,000,000+ Spotify Worldwide Streams already I had a break from it and came back and it's still really catchy. Hope we get a few remixes

7 in the mids to out of the Top 100 😓

And apparently No.1 on the Saturday update.

I know it means nothing as it's largely just actual sales for that one, but that was quite the move from 1 to nowhere.

Ya it's a huge outcome considering it started at number 1 but it was frontloaded and given zero help after

Its surprising that MOS didn’t react - I know they don’t chase singles success like they used to but seeing as Alok is their artist you would’ve thought they might have tried something/anything to get him a hit seeing as it started so strong.

#100 sold 5,454, so Alok/Kylie missed out on charting by 439 copies. Which might not sound like a lot, but considering it only sold 641 digitally last week (download+streaming combined), it would have been a tall order for it to make up that deficit.

Oh well!

Noooo....

Years ago I always used to think a song making #40 was worse than it making #41.

#40 was a "only just made it"

#41 was a "only just missed out"

The latter seemed more positive somehow.

#41 is perhaps the most dreaded position for me, I even much prefer something peaking at #42 than that happening.

At least #40 is recognised as being a top 40 hit and on the chart show etc.

40 is far far better than 41.

11, 41 and 76 are the really annoying peaks although with kylies chart trajectory in the last decade or so I'd be happy with any of those positions nowadays.

Was bopping to this at the concert last night

Its a song I'd kinda forgotten about again but it seems to have went down well at the concerts.
