In lieu of the previous SyncTube sessions' weekly polls cutting each week's songs down to a list of 10 options to vote for because no one volunteered to do the work to make such curated lists, for our Hot 100 #1s marathon I'm just going to post one of these threads each week allowing people to vote for whichever songs they want from the full list x

 

If you don't know what the above sentence is referring to don't worry, this thread is open to participation from anyone (although we're always open to new participants at our weekly listening sessions x), just post in the thread with up to 5 favourites and, if you want, up to 3 least favourites from the below song list. The song with the most favourite nods will get a play at the start of next week's session (and the song with the most least favourite nods will just have a permanent place on a wall of shame for funziez).

 

In our last poll, Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' threatened for a while to be a unanimous winner getting a nomination from each of the first 6 voters - it ended up getting only 1 more vote after this but that was still enough for it to top the poll, with the traditional 1 vote margin over the joint runner-ups, JAY-Z's 'Empire State Of Mind' (feat. Alicia Keys) and Owl City's 'Fireflies'. The worst poll produced another joint winnerwith 4 votes each for Rihanna's 'S&M Remix' (feat. Britney Spears) - the third song to date to get multiple votes for both best and worst - and Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'. One vote behind was a three way tie for the bronze medal between Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' (feat. Snoop Dogg), Eminem, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent's 'Crack A Bottle' and Usher's 'OMG' (feat. will.i.am). As Britney previously jointly won a best poll with '...Baby One More Time' she joins Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson in winning both polls (though Wonder remains the only one to do so without at least one of those wins being a tie).

Despite kicks I failed to post a poll last week again so it's another double bill this week - week 24 has 43 songs spanning the 1,008th through 1,050th #1s, from late September 2011 (Adele's 'Someone Like You') to mid February 2016 (Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself'), while week 25 covers another 41 songs, the 1,051st through 1,091st #1s, from late February 2016 (ZAYN's 'PILLOWTALK') to the start of November 2019 (Lewis Capaldi's 'Someone You Loved'). Note that for the week 25 poll, I've listed both the original and remix versions of 'Perfect' and 'Old Town Road', as in both cases one of their weeks at #1 was billed to the original version - I am not counting these as separate #1s but acknowledging it in the list anyway, feel free to vote based on either version.
