Im glad Ed is doing well there is a lot of unnecessary vitriol for him out there purely because he’s been so successful but he’s had to go the extra mile to get this song streaming decent numbers but it looks like it’s now going to be around for awhile in the top 3 so it is what it is I wouldn’t say those who said it was a flop were wrong it flopped then flopped itself as the week progressed

It's on week 1 it's not flopped yet however u try and cut it , it could go on to be his most successful ever , it might not , you can't really call anything a flop in week 1

And calling things flops out the gate is not really an opinion 🫣🤣

I still think it's way too early to call it a huge underperformance for his standards, we have no way of knowing where it will go next.

If it goes 3-9-14-25 in the first month then sure, I agree. But I highly doubt that will be the outcome.

The song is already on 27k TikTok videos, that's a great start at this stage. The industry has changed a lot since 2021 when Bad Habits was released.

It's completely fair and accurate to say it's a huge first week underperformance by his prior standards when the industry was behaving differently, but how many artists/songs have had a blockbuster first week recently? I can't think of many in the last six months.

I've been seeing it used on social media recently and it's quite catchy - happy to see Selena may actually get a decent hit out of it! I think it might sneak into the top 40 in tomorrow's chart - it was #46 on the Monday update and has been gaining on spotify throughout the week.

Just seen it was co-written by Charli XCX, which explains a lot. Was definitely one of the highlights on that album.
