The occ not crediting Florence :/

Happy to see "Up From the Bottom" managed to cling to the top 100 for a 2nd week, likely by just like 1 sale lol

Whats the Jack Black thing? Seen it on Amazon pretty high

Yeah, I don't like Jade songs and I'm aloud to have an opinion.

I think Lava's Chicken breaks the all time record for the shortest charting song of all time, with the streaming audio being only 34 seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong.

UK TOP 100 11.04.25 #28

THE TOP TEN:

Sleep Token lands their first top ten new at 10 as Chappell continues her fall to 9 with 'The Giver'. WizTheMC jumps from ten to 8 with 'Show Me Love', as Sabrina has a big sales spike with 'Busy Woman' at 7. Also climbing on sales are Tate McRae at 6 and Benson Boone at 5. Doechii also climbs on sales with 'Anxiety' at 4, which is just under this week's highest new entry, 'Azizam', at 3. 'Pink Pony Club' sees a large spike in sales, but it is nowhere near 'Ordinary' by Alex Warren, which continues its already mammoth lead.

NEW ENTRIES:

99. Catch These Fists – Wet Leg (6.7/10)

It shocks me to see so many songs charting that I've never heard of before. The name Wet Leg is familiar in the back of my mind, though. The song has a messy yet controlled feeling where the energy tends to be careless and free; it sounds like something you would hear on a more niche Radio 1 show.

97. Passo Bem Solto – Atlxs (4/10)

I know we've had a genre rush into the charts recently, but foreign phonk music is pretty unexpected. And this totally Seems like its purpose is for TikTok edits, seeing its 1:40 second length and the fast-paced beat switch, which really don't indicate much work; you can tell it's for the socials. At best this'll make it onto an IShowSpeed fan page edit.

93. Chest Pain (I Love) – Malcom Todd (4/10)

This was a 6.8/10, but now it's a 4/10. The way he says love just makes me want to smash my phone; it's so irritating. What even is "I LUH HU HU HUV? Yeah, no... at least the guitar solo at the end was decent, but what even was that crackling? Nah, I'm not doing this.

78. All I Ever Asked – Rachel Chinouriri (8/10)

Funny enough, I recently listened to her whole 2024 album, and this was in it. The song brings out the emotional feeling of a breakup, which Rachel sings about from someone else's point of view. She does that well due to the use of the straightforward lyrics and the instrumentals hitting the feeling well.

77. Steve's Lava Chicken – Jack Black (5/10)

You've got to be kidding me… a 34-second song of Jack Black singing about Minecraft's Lava Chicken. I knew the movie had a huge first-week breakthrough, but it didn't really bring anything good out of it apart from brain rot, like this. This is like the time 'Man In Finance' charted last year. I'm not even going to take this seriously; it's guitar rock with Jack Black saying words in the strange ways he does. Let's just hope this randomness leaves the chart.

58. All I Know – Rudimental/Khalid (6/10)

I skipped listening to this for New Music Friday; I should've known that it'll pop up later in the week anyway. It's Rudimental's classic electronic style; it's about putting faith in someone, and Khalid plays the lead role differently than his usual lead role, not like he really adds anything amazing, though. Pretty generic; can't say there's anything worth delving into.

35. Tonight – Pinkpantheress (7/10)

My previous listen:

It has her signature style while still maintaining an enjoyable sound!

Added:

I adore her dreamy vocals on top of the bubblegum pop; it loops, but it's also a catchy loop.

23. End Of The World – Miley Cyrus (7/10)

You know I'm happy to see Miley taking a new path in music and all, but this still just isn't the crème de la crème like people say it is. Sure, she's got some nice raspy vocals along with the more polished pop-rock sound, but this isn't exactly anything never seen before.

10. Caramel – Sleep Token (7/10)

Previous listen:

Better than their previous single, it brings more hope for what's to come.

Added:

Yeah, there was quite a bit of hate behind this, and I do agree there are some straight choices; on second listen, the vocals are sounding like poor AI. I do think the general quality of the beat saves the song, though; the drums that bring flavour go into a more raging rock high, which sounds like if The Weeknd and Linkin Park did a collaboration.

3. Azizam – Ed Sheeran (4.5/10)

Previous listen:

This is Ed's weakest lead single ever, and now I've just lost hope in him entirely... He's not going to go out of his comfort zone, and he's still going to try and push bland radio pop that sounds like it's made for a children's costume party. I really regret having hope in this because I should've known that he was going to continue getting worse! This as a main single is laughable, and the worst part is radio will probably eat it up and make it go number one. Oh, and for anyone thinking, "Maybe the next singles will be better," he's actually already revealed three other song titles and performed one live. The live song is called 'Old Phone', and it's a standard sad guitar song! So it's official; we get a hyped-up hook, which is really Ed singing louder, and some low-effort dance-pop melody. Thanks a lot.
