  • The correct answer here is: Pick anything from the One Touch era of the Sugababes Overload will be 25 in September, and Mutya turns 40 this May. They were 14/15 when they not only sung but also wrote

  • Severin

Written at 13 and recorded at the age of 16

  • Definitely Britney Spears - Baby One More Time. A pop masterpiece.

i think other than the usual picks like Britney or Bieber it would have to be this

the way Wonyoung was only 14 when this released and getting a more stable income than I would have ever dreamed of at that age, an icon

I love a lot of stuff that's already been posted on this thread but I need to give a shout out to Lil Chris (RIP), I used to listen to his debut album a lot - nothing groundbreaking but it's full of fun little pop/rock bops!

She was only 13 when it was originally released on soundcloud! It was officially/commercially released a year later when she was 14.

Just remembered that two of my favourite retro Eurovision winning songs were performed by under-18s!

Gigliola Cinquetti - 'Non ho l'età (per amarti)' won for Italy in 1964 when she was 16 years old:

Then the following year France Gall was victorious at 17 years old with 'Poupée de cire, poupée de son', representing Luxembourg:

I actually really enjoy his version of We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off!

Unironically liking this too...

Back then in my country, these 4 kids were waaaay too young to perform this kind of song—no, the entire album. You can say another Jimmy Osmond branch (100% ultra cheesy but a bit of bop though):

Didn't realise Billie Eilish was so young when she started, also The Lorde!!!!

when I started following music as a kid in the late 80s there was this battle of the teens

between Tiffany and Debbie Gibson

Debbie Gibson released her debut Out of the Blue when she was 16,

writing all her songs solo and playing piano and even producing it I think.

She managed 2 US #1s (Foolish beat and Lost in your eyes)

Tiffany was also 16 when she grabbed 2 US #1s including the classic I Think we're alone now.

Hanne Krogh - Lykken Er (Norway - Eurovision 1971). Only 15 years old, super cute performance.
