Good perf from Claude. I havent noticed the song too much but it's good enough to be in the final at least

His vocal puts so many of the others to shame.

French commentator saying that Claude is inspired by Stromae which I guess I can see (beyond Benelux artists with African heritage signing a lot about heritage) but I think is a pale imitation.

Oh juries are going to love Netherlands yeah, and public could easily give over 200. Definitely in the mix still.

Finally they string three solid songs together in a row. In a normal year this is good but maybe not enough to Qual. This year should be a safe bet for the top 15

I didn’t really care much for that on record but it worked well live - a few dud notes here and there but feels like it will do very well on Saturday

Netherlands - the beginner-level French took me out a little but a nice song, above average I think

I think Netherland’s could be a massive surprise! The juries will love it and I honestly think it stands out massively for the public vote too? It is so catchy it has public vote appeal too.

I am thinking top 3/5 finish at least now?

The staging / lighting is very impressive - it’s just a shame zero thought was given to the song. Good things it’s not a song contest.
