For a year that was all set to be disappointing, I think this has been a good entertaining mix of competitive entries this year!

Before that week it felt like by far the worst year since I’ve actively followed (mid 00s) but it’s ended up decent.

Also word for advice, never EVER watch Eurovision with your parents and relatives, unless you want to be embarrassed (speaking from experience)

I just watched a bit with them after joining them for the Swedish Entry and walked off during Albania's entry to watch by myself, after my father's disgusting comments on Albania's female singers outfit.

It's a song contest, not a fashion show!

Would agree that the performances elevated some of the songs. Not a lot I’d go back to but they all put on a show!

I'm a bit behind. Sweden was great on Melodivastivalens, but hmm on thr Eurovision stage I don't know... But MUCH better than sending more pasturised Swedish pop. But Yii Haa would have been good too.

I still think it's the worst one since early 00s/90s.

Could have been better without the vocals from the guy.

I don’t know if you know the whole meaning behind the song but vocals from guy adds to the song. Basically she dreams of a world of no war, clean water etc etc and then he comes and reminds her of a reality, which is very grim!!!
