August 17, 2025Aug 17 I loved the 80s sound of his last album, I'm not feeling this one so much sadly singles aside, 'Romeo' and 'Sunset Tower' are the two standouts for me but I will give the album another listen to see if anything else jumps out.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 Author I actually think this is challenging for his best body of work yet. That initial run from Actor through to My World is sublime. Actor in particular I was really taken aback by the lyrics (in the best way!), and that continuing through the rest of the album really shows just how strong a storyteller he has always been with his music. It's definitely not the most commercial album but I think it's his most vulnerable and honest and that's part of the magic.
August 20, 2025Aug 20 Why is he so consistant with albums :cry: each track really strong, going to need a couple of listens to determine proper fsves but I would not skip any track! Contender for album of the year!
August 20, 2025Aug 20 It's a really good album, very consistent sonically, quite a shift from Found Heaven (his best album in my books) but I'm so glad he seems to still be building a fanbase, looking at his highest charting album in both the UK and the US!
August 28, 2025Aug 28 Author Ordered the cranberry red vinyl today after it came back in stock on the UK store (the drip feeding of the physicals for this era truly has been something to behold ), so glad I'm finally going to have this every listen of the album makes me fall in love with it more and more!!
August 28, 2025Aug 28 Also ordered the Cranberry Red vinyl, thanks to Calum informing me about it coming back in stock Wishbone is definitely up there as one of my favourite albums of the year. He really knocked it out of the park with this one!

April 22Apr 22 Hello.As promised, I have listened to his albums (currently wading through this one!)A fan has been made His first album is strong.Second album wasn’t a fave but a few keepers.‘Found Heaven’ is great. Really, really good!I’m loving this album so far, but ‘Actor’ and ‘Vodka Cranberry’ are my two fave songs from him prior to listening so no surprise there. Up to ‘My World’ currently.
