After a few listens to both, I have to say I'm slightly preferring 'Super Love Me' to 'Leave Me Alone' now, but both are great (shame they're both behind in the poll) - I agree with Rich that the form

1 Grace Davies - I’m becoming quite the fan from what I’ve heard! 2 Sam Ryder - think this is a strong return from him but his time in the sun may be up 3 Reneé Rapp - this isn’t quite clicking for me

Love Bloodline and Rocket so it was a close call but the former just edges it for me. The Sam Ryder track is pretty good too.

Grace's song is good but Reneé's is great, looks like it might be on its way to becoming a hit too!

My personal rank for Week 21;

  1. Grace Davies – Super Love Me

  2. Robbie Williams & Tony Iommi – Rocket

  3. Alex Warren with Jelly Roll – Bloodline

  4. Sam Ryder – OH OK

  5. Benson Boone – Momma Song

  6. Reneé Rapp – Leave Me Alone

  7. dearALICE – Sweet

  8. Myles Smith – Gold

Easily Grace Davies, which sounds like a potential BJSC winner. She's well loved with a 100% top ten strike rate and hat-trick already, plus that ABBA sound that helped Debbii Dawson to a win. Guess she might be vetoed by this point though considering all of that.

It riffs off the production of Does Your Mother Know, with some of the piano and string flourishes of more recent Scandipop. The bridge melody is also reminiscent of C'est La Vie by Hanson, Carson and Malmkvist from Melodifestivalen 2004. I'm still obsessed with MDE from her too, really loving her recent stuff.

My rank:

  1. Grace Davies – Super Love Me (great!)

  2. Sam Ryder – OH OK (decent Hozier vibes for the second single in a row)

  3. Reneé Rapp – Leave Me Alone (suspect this could grow further, sounds so familiar somehow)

  4. Benson Boone – Momma Song (big chorus, surprised how much I like this)

  5. Robbie Williams & Tony Iommi – Rocket (this sounded pretty good for a modern Robbie lead, nothing amazing though)

  6. Alex Warren with Jelly Roll – Bloodline

  7. dearALICE – Sweet

  8. Myles Smith – Gold

If you like ABBA-esque pop, here's another song in that vein which came out this week:

Thanks for sharing, I'll take any ABBA influenced pop I can get.

I've got my finger on the confirmation button already. Some of us need a chance to win after 11 years 🤣
