Come on Louise!! I really want her new album, Confessions, to go Top 10. It’s a really great pop album and people need to check it out!

  • Damn. I was wondering what #1 would be

  • If I were an artist I’d rather be fair to my fans than do things like that just for a few higher places on the chart. If it was for #1 then maybe

re 34 Sam Fender - People Watching

Looking at last year - on the Bank Holiday Sunday of Big Weekend, Radio 1 gave us the top 10 of the first look chart just before 7pm - there was no OCC article listing the top 20.

Who knows what information we will get tomorrow.

Does Radio 1’s Big Weekend usually have an impact?

Wondering if it’ll have an impact on Wolf Alice, Sam Fender, Tom Grennan, Jade etc

Predictions

  1. Ordinary (11th week)

  2. Undressed

  3. Pink Pony Club

  4. Love me not

  5. Bloodline

  6. Show me Love

  7. Family Matters

  8. Blessings

  9. Azizam

  10. Beautiful Things

No clue with the albums

No First Look show tonight due to Big Weekend. If anyone's listening to Radio 1 and they mention anything chart related, please @ me! We may get a rundown from them, and may get an OCC article, but nothing's guaranteed tonight.

This! It’s a brilliant album - I have a feeling though it’s going to struggle

Albums more competitive than I thought! I imagine sales must be pretty low though, Sabrina can't be higher than 5k right now assuming she's at 4. Hope one of the new entries can get number one!

Ah Louise - I think it’s going to plummet as the week goes on, it’s such a good album too.

How amazing would it be for Sparks to get their first #1 over 50 years after their first release. Sadly I expect it will drop by Fri :(

#7 is also where her album 'Heavy Love' was in the midweeks on the Tuesday (its midweek run from Mon-Thurs was 7-7-8-8). We got less information for 'Greatest Hits' but she was midweek #6 on Monday and midweek #7 on Wednesday. So she performs rather similarly each time she releases!

Uh is it just me who had no previous awareness about the albums in the Top 2!
